Good day all. Chicago is, for all intents and purposes, a war zone thanks to the policies of the Mayor, Lori Lightfoot. She is a typical Moonbat progressive Liberal Democratic Communazi, and like all of her ilk, blames all the problems on others. She’s also been big on defunding the police and restricting them when they trying to maintain order. Now her policies have gotten one officer killed and another on life support. (Probably won’t survive sadly)
Dozens of Chicago officers went to the hospital to support the families of the two officers. It has been some time since one was killed in the line of duty. (The suspects have been caught). Mayor Moron decided that she should put in an appearance, and the officers there decided to let her know just how they felt about her. Here are the details from Fox News:
More than two dozen Chicago police officers reportedly turned their backs when greeted by Mayor Lori Lightfoot late Saturday at the hospital where an officer remains in critical condition.
Chicago Police Officer Ella French, 29, was shot and killed during a traffic stop Saturday night, while her partner fights for his life at the University of Chicago Medical Center. As Lightfoot visited the hospital about midnight Saturday, about 30 officers turned their backs to her when she approached them on the 7th floor, the Chicago Sun-Times reported Monday morning.
“It looked like it had been choreographed,” a source told the outlet.
Somehow I doubt that the officers practiced turning away from that incompetent stuttering thundercunt. I suspect one turned and the rest simply followed suit. While this was all that the officers could do to show their utter and complete contempt for this Beetlejuice reject, one of the victim’s father wasn’t so restrained.
The male officer’s father, who is a retired Chicago cop, also gave the mayor an earful when she tried to talk to him, sources told the Sun-Times. She reportedly remained calm and attentive while he blamed her for what happened.
She was probably frozen like a deer in the headlights, hoping that this guy didn’t pummel her into a greasy spot on the floor. Mayor Moron’s press officer tried to play all this down of course.
“The Mayor spoke to a range of officers that tragic night and sensed the overwhelming sentiment was about concern for their fallen colleagues,” the statement read. “As the Mayor stated yesterday, now is not the time for divisive and toxic rhetoric or reporting. This is a time for us to come together as a city. We have a common enemy and it is the conditions that breed the violence and the manifestations of violence, namely illegal guns, and gangs. The Mayor is focused on healing the wounds and will reject any and all that try to use this moment to drive further divisions in our city.”
The “Mayor” could heal many wounds one of two ways. The preferred way wold be going to the top of the Sears tower and try some base jumping using an umbrella to slow her decent, or just resigning from office. Either one would work for most people, but Lightfoot won’t resign. (Perhaps she’s open to the base jumping idea?)
Lunkhead Lightfoot has to be the most incompetent mayor in decades. I think I’m safe in saying that she will be facing a primary opponent, and if she somehow manages to scam her way to the general, I have little doubt there will be a Republican running for the office, and that person, even in Chicago, might have a chance of winning. Frankly, she should be removed from office. Sadly, I don’t think there is a mechanism in the laws of Chicago to do that.
