Good day all. Were you aware that a documentary film was made about Anthony “Faucist” Fauci? No? I wasn’t either and apparently, no one else knew either. This has led to an interesting problem. No one can find out how much money the film made.
As we all know, Fauci is the lying, incompetent bureaucrat who may have paid for the weaponizing Gain of Function research in the Wuhan lab in China. It’s pretty much been accepted that the virus escaped the lab accidentally, (Although there are those who think it was a deliberate action by the Chicom government. I’m not one of them), and since then Fauci has been flip flopping and trying to bury the truth of his culpability.
The Documentary, which I haven’t seen, was probably made last year, before we knew what a useless git Fauci actually is. (Also before the referral for prosecution sent to the DOJ by the Senate for perjury) It was put into limited release in a few cities and, apparently, on HBO Max, (Come to think of it, I do believe I saw it listed there and promptly ignored it). What appears to be happening is that no one is paying to see this propagandistic drivel. Here are the details from Just The News:
Documentaries often earn a fraction of what their fictional counterparts generate, at least those without the names “Moore” or “D’Souza” attached.
These days, even films made by that hypocritical fat limousine Marxist, Michael Moore aren’t doing very well.
“Fauci,” a film detailing the scientific life of the nation’s preeminent infectious disease expert, appeared to be an exception. Dr. Anthony Fauci has his detractors, particularly on the political right, but he’s still the biggest name in medical science thanks to his leadership on the COVID-19 pandemic and near-constant media presence.
Detractors is putting it mildly. He has been caught lying time and time again, and with the FOIA release of his email, his credibility is below zero. Now he’s in full damage control mode and also doubling down on his totalitarian activities. He believes, and not without good reason, that the Meat Puppet acting as President will protect him from prosecution. (Sadly, he’s probably right)
The timing of the film’s Sept. 10 limited release, in cities including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, D.C. and New Orleans, seemed fortuitous given the aggressive Delta variant.
Aggressive? Everything I’ve seen is that it’s a big nothing and is already burning out. Of course, the “Usual suspects” played it up as the next apocalypse. As to the cities, they’re all pretty much leftist failed cities so it make sense to open there. They worship Fauci and the ground he walks on. (Damn Faucists!)
Except we’re still waiting on the box office tally.
No major film site — think BoxOfficeMojo.com, IMDB.com, RottenTomatoes.com or Boxoffice Pro — has the film’s earnings to date. JustTheNews.com reached out to representatives at both National Geographic and Magnolia Pictures, the studios copresenting the film, for any figures from its two-plus weeks in limited release. Neither studio responded.
I suspect that the receipts are in the hundreds of dollars, which would make it a massive failure.
Shawn Robbins, chief analyst with Boxoffice Pro, says it’s “incredibly uncommon” for a major studio release to withhold its box office earnings. Some did just that at the height of the pandemic, but most resumed their transparency as theaters opened nationwide earlier this year.
When the Panicdemic started and the morons locked everything down, one thing that crashed was box office receipts. Many new films were basically shelved because the theaters were ordered closed. Eventually, they studios and distributors started making deals with HBO MAX and other streaming services to get their films out. Still, they took some serious hits and the theater chains are really hurting.
Robbins notes that Warner Bros. which released its titles in both theatres and HBO Max this year, shares only weekend and weekly figures, not daily data.
“Niche distributors often lack the proper resources for data reporting. That may or may not be the case with this particular documentary,” says Robbins, who isn’t aware of any box office-style predictions for “Fauci” in the weeks leading up to its release.
I have a feeling that they know what a bomb it was going to be. Rather than being the “Big Hero,” Fauci is turning out to be a “Big Zero.” There is little doubt that if he wasn’t being protected by President Dementia, he would already be out on the street and probably looking at criminal prosecution.
Robbins says it’s too soon to say “Fauci” is a box office disappointment.
“There’s no way to be sure at this stage,” he says.

The film’s release schedule had one condition tied to the ongoing pandemic: Audiences had to show proof of vaccination before seeing the documentary, something that isn’t mandatory in many theaters at the moment.
And that right there was an absolute deal killer for many people. Fascist Fauci is on record wanting to mandate internal passports for Americans. If you haven’t been vaccinated, you would be forbidden to do anything, including working or buying food. That, besides being unconstitutional, has already lead to several violent encounters in areas that have decided the constitution doesn’t apply (New York City)
Directed by Emmy winners John Hoffman and Janet Tobias, “Fauci” earned mostly positive reviews according to film critic aggregator site RottenTomatoes.com. The site’s professional critic rating came in at an impressive 88% “fresh.” The film lacks a single audience member review to date.
It probably lacks an audience review because there have been no audiences that actually wasted the $10 to see the thing.
The latter isn’t true at the Internet Movie Database (IMDB.com). “Fauci” has a withering 2.2/10 rating, although it’s possible the now-controversial doctor’s detractors weighed in without actually having seen the film.
You are hoping they haven’t seen it. I suspect they watched on a streaming service instead of going to a theater and being told “Papers Please!”
Most professional critics agree “Fauci” took an overwhelmingly positive look at the doctor’s body of work. The Guardian calls the film “celebratory” in its approach to the title figure.
The “Reviewers” are all hard left people and organizations that, frankly, have no grasp of reality. Of course, that would describe pretty much all film critics who generally hate what most people like and love what most people despise. Then, of course, there is that aforementioned “Reality.”
Perhaps recent headlines regarding Fauci dampened enthusiasm for the film. The left-leaning Intercept published a story suggesting Dr. Fauci, who has served under seven presidents, wasn’t being truthful when he testified on Capitol Hill about any U.S.-China connection regarding “gain-of-function” virus research.
Documents reveal that the Wuhan Institute of Virology, where many suspect the COVID-19 virus originated, made viruses more transmissible to learn more about them. The U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) helped fund projects at the Chinese lab.
That information started dribbling out over a year ago and was promptly censored by Big Tech. Then one of the small news blogs filed a Freedom Of Information Act request on Fauci’s email and they didn’t find a smoking gun, they found smoking artillery pieces.
Dr. Fauci told Congress in May that NIH “has not ever and does not now fund gain-of-function research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology.”
That statement flew in the face of the emails recovered and published from the FOIA document dump, and is why Senator Rand Paul sent a referral to the Department of Justice asking for a formal investigation of Fauci for lying to congress. Whether or not that corrupt slug, Merritt Garland, actually does investigate is another matter.
Things like the “Star” of the documentary being shown to have lied under oath and having done something that could be construed as genetically engineering a biological warfare agent, paying a potentially hostile government for the work and then using a lab that had serious issues with their containment protocols does tend to depress audience turnout.
Because Fauci loves the limelight, people are starting to dig into his background, and they are finding out a lot of interesting things, not all of them complimentary. Basically, Fauci gave up his lab coat and decided that being an overpaid, (And he makes more than the President of the United States), bureaucrat was a better career path.
The film makers may have thought that a nice tongue bath of Fauci would be both an award winner and potentially a money maker. Instead, they produced something that even Leni Riefenstahl would be ashamed of. I’m guessing that the film is going to be locked away somewhere and forgotten until Fauci has long turned to dust.
