FBI Director Wray using Government jet as his personal aircraft

Good day all. One of the personnel mistakes the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump made was replacing the utterly corrupt James Comey with the utterly corrupt Christopher Wray. Wray was brought in to clean up the mess made by Comey and instead, has made things even worse.

Today, the FBI is nothing more then the political secret police force for the Democrat Party and the Biden maladministration. I don’t need to go into all the blatant police state tactics the FBI has been doing for the last 6+ years, both I and many others have already documented it, and are continuing to do so.

No, this is more along the lines of personal corruption. As director of the Federal Bureau of Incompetents Investigation, Wray has access to a corporate jet maintained by the federal government. It’s meant to be used to fly Wray around, generally on official business. However, it appears he’s been using it for more that business travel. Here are the details from the Post Millennial:

FBI Director Christopher Wray‘s personal use of an official bureau Gulfstream jet has caused Republican members of Congress to send a formal letter on August 15 inquiring about the nature of the fights while some members inside the FBI are accusing Wray of embezzlement.

According to the New York Post, Wray has been using the FBI’s Gulfstream jet to fly off to personal destinations in Atlanta and New York, prompting Republicans to ask if those trips were in “compliance with the applicable federal regulations and requirements” and if he was “properly reimbursing federal taxpayers” for his flights.

I would say that the answer to that is probably a big, fat NO! A number of agents have said, off the record, that what Wray is doing amounts to embezzlement.

Inside the FBI, agents cited Title 18, U.S.C. 641 saying his many personal trips equate to embezzlement, or when an agent “knowingly converts government property to one’s own use.”

Apparently, the jet isn’t really meant for Wray’s personal travel. It’s meant to move one of their swat teams around if needed.

One anonymous agent said his trips were inappropriate because “The FBI acquired the Gulfstream for the express purpose of moving its own Counterterrorism Rapid Deployment teams to anywhere in the world to deal with an act of terrorism.”

You meant they aren’t being used to raid peaceful conservative protesters or storm a former president’s home? Well, that would be a first. As for Wray, he’s been using this thing like his personal commuter plane.

Wray has flown eight times in the last four months to Atlanta, most recently on October 11. Wray has a Buckhead district home in Atlanta.

Since he is the Director of the FBI, shouldn’t he have a home in or near Washington D.C.? I can see having a second home elsewhere, but unless there is a critical need for him to be able to return to Washington asap, he should be riding in coach like the rest of the hoi polloi. However, ditching an oversight committee to take the plane on a family vacation?

On August 4, during a Senate oversight hearing, Wray told Senator Chuck Grassley that he had pressing “business” to attend to and had to leave. He ended up flying on the jet to a family vacation spot in the Adirondacks.

So he’s a liar as well? Of course, if he used the exact phrase, “Pressing business,” he might just get away with not being charged with lying to congress. He could say he meant “Pressing PERSONAL business.”

The Government Accountability Office has allowed FBI directors of the past to use business planes for personal use but under a strict reimbursement policy.

Those planes are not cheap to use. They burn thousands of dollars per hour in fuel and then there are all the other fees that are associated with using a business jet. It’s been a while since I looked it up, but I recall that buying a seat on a business jet, and corporations do use them as charter jets to make some money to defray costs, it was something like $30K a trip. Add to that the family members and there goes Wray’s paycheck for a year.

Wray has lost the confidence of many FBI agents and they want him to resign. Personally, I think he should be removed and prosecuted for a whole host of crimes, such as lying under oath, embezzlement, civil rights violations, and spitting on the sidewalk if that’s still a thing. He needs to be gone sooner rather then later.
