Kim Gardner may finally be getting her comeuppance

Good day all. It’s been a while since I wrote about the corrupt St. Louis Circuit Attorney, (Their version of a District Attorney), Kim Gardner. She came to most people’s notice when a bunch of BCLOM thugs broke down a gate and stormed onto private property. Two people came out armed, (With empty guns as I recall), to hold them off and Garner went after them instead.

She also used her office to go after a newly elected Republican Governor, forcing him to resign. It later came out that the whole thing was a cooked up scam. Now something else has happened and the State’s Attorney General has told her to resign or be removed. Here are the details from Fox News:

Republican Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey moved to fire embattled Democratic St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner on Thursday after she refused to resign following a weekend accident involving a repeat offender who was free despite several violations of his bond terms.

Gardner is a Soros DA. This means she punishes the innocent and frees the guilty. These radical D.A.’s have wrought havoc across the United States. The Soros D.A. in San Francisco was so bad, he was recalled and removed from office by the voters.

The AG’s office started the process of filing a petition quo warranto, which is the legal mechanism under state statute that allows the Attorney General to remove a prosecutor who neglects his or her duties. Bailey will have to show a judge that Gardner neglected her duties and needs to be removed.

“This is about a quantum of evidence that demonstrates her failure to prosecute cases, failure to inform and confer with victims in cases and failure to file new cases that are referred by law enforcement agencies,” Bailey told Fox News Digital in an interview.

“I’m a former prosecutor. I’ve worked in a county prosecutor’s office, and what motivated me every day was the rule of law and finding justice for victims. And rather than finding justice for victims and protecting victims, the circuit attorney of the city of St. Louis was creating new victims. And someone’s got to hold her accountable and that’s that’s why we’re moving forward with our quo warranto,” he said.

I suspect Mr. Bailey has enough on Gardner to hang her, figuratively speaking, otherwise he wouldn’t waste his and a judges time. The straw that broke the camel’s back, so to speak, was the criminal, who should have been cooling his heels in prison, was out and driving around crippling people.

On Wednesday, Bailey gave Gardner an ultimatum — resign or be removed — after a motorist who repeatedly violated his bond conditions on earlier charges crashed and left a teenage volleyball player with major injuries that required both her legs be amputated. Gardner’s office is the one that should be monitoring compliance with bond conditions and revoking them when those terms are violated.

The victim, Janae Edmondson, 16, visited St. Louis with her family on Saturday for a volleyball tournament. While the family was in the downtown area, 21-year-old Daniel Riley was speeding, failed to yield and caused a collision, ultimately striking and pinning Edmondson.

Apparently, Ms. Edmondson’s father is former military and remembered his training. I’m assuming he tied tourniquets on his daughter’s legs to keep her from bleeding out, saving her life and that punk from a murder charge. Considering what he was charged with, he should have already been tried, convicted and cooling his heels in a prison for 10+ years.

In the days following the crash, local reports revealed Riley was out on bail awaiting trial for a 2020 armed robbery. According to KSDK, Riley had violated the terms of his bond at least 50 times, but the circuit attorney’s office did not ask for his bond to be revoked.

Attorney General Bailey has listed three charges or claims demonstrating what he politely calls “Gardner’s Neglect of Office.” Would would have used the term criminal incompetence, but that’s me.

One is that she failed to prosecute cases that are filed. “So a law enforcement referral comes in, she files a charge and then she doesn’t move the case at all, she fails to move those cases to disposition. So these cases languish on dockets and are eventually dismissed,” he explained.

Unless it’s against someone she has a personal animus towards, such as a Republican governor or the McClosky’s.

“The circuit attorney failed to file a motion to revoke and now we have another victim in the city of St. Louis because she refused to do her job,” Bailey said of the Riley case.

And this young woman has just had her life turned completely upside down because of this walking piece of human debris, and the criminal her ran her down.

Third, Bailey said Gardner has failed “file new cases referred by law enforcement agencies.”

Gardner is, of course, denying everything and has refused to resign. She’s busy blaming everyone else and claiming that she did nothing wrong

On Tuesday, Gardner released a statement saying, “Our hearts go out to the victim and her family for this unspeakable tragedy that will undoubtedly have a lasting impact not only on her, but her family and loved ones.”

A tragedy that should NOT have happened if you had actually done your job.

“It’s unfortunate that there are those who choose to twist the facts to take advantage of this situation for their own selfish motives,” he added. “This is not the time for finger pointing, it’s time to support this family, and ensure that justice is served.”

In other words, she knows she’s finished. Her only hope now is that this ends up in front of the state equivalent of an Obama judge who will whitewash the whole thing. I don’t think that’s going to happen this time. St Louis, or parts of it, are a disaster area thanks to this incompetent shrew. How she got reelected is a mystery to me. Hopefully she will be removed from her position. I also hope that Ms. Edmondson can sue Gardner personally and take everything she has.

As for Ms. Edmonson, I know you won’t see this and I know things are looking bleak for you. Hopefully, someone will tell you about the late World War 2 RAF pilot, Douglas Bader. He lost his legs in a plane crash before the war. That should have ended his flying career, but hard work and help from a friend, and he was back in fighters just in time for the start of the war. He fought in the Battle of Britain and shot down a number of Nazi planes.

He himself went down over Europe and was captured. One of his artificial legs was lost, although the Germans made arrangements for a new pair to be delivered to him. Did being captured slow him down? Heck no! He escaped the hospital he was in after the crash. He was caught, but he kept trying to escape. Let Mr. Bader be your role model for your future. The sky can be yours.

As for Gardner? She deserves to be utterly and completely ruined. Hopefully Attorney General Bailey will succeed in getting this corrupt, incompetent bitch out of office and someone in there who will throw the punk who injured Ms. Edmonson into prison for a very long time.

  1. Nohbody says:

Regarding the McCloskeys, not only were the weapons unloaded, the pistol Mrs. McCloskey was wielding wasn’t even capable of firing, as it was a courtroom prop in another case that was intentionally assembled wrong so that it wouldn’t shoot. (The firing pin and spring was reversed.) Under MO law, the weapon needs to be readily operable to qualify for the charge of felony unlawful use of a weapon, so the charge against her was even less valid than the rest of the case.
There was some noise about that when it came out that the Assistant Circuit Attorney ordered the crime lab to strip the gun down. The lab later reassembled it, but correctly so that it would shoot, and that was the state in which the pistol was submitted as evidence in Gardner’s case against the couple.

    • I do recall the weapons being unloaded and the pistol both being disabled and the fraud of a city attorney tampering with the evidence. It’s somewhere here on the blog. I just didn’t have time to go dig it up.
