Once again Lindsey Graham drops his pants and shoves his head up his….

Good day all. Once again, Lindsey Graham has opened his big mouth and shoved both his feet into it. Recently, as in since January 20th 2021, The President of China, Xi Jinping, has been making noises about launching an invasion of Taiwan.

The issue of what the United States should do if the PRC, (People’s Republic of China), does launch an attack on Taiwan has been open for decades. Taiwan is a democracy, (after years as an authoritarian regime), and has been under threat from the PRC since the Nationalist Chinese lost and went to what was then Formosa. They have been living under the threat of an invasion since then, and have been building their defenses ever since.

The PRC has been rather successful in cutting Taiwan off diplomatically from the international community. The politics of the situation between the two entities is complex. The PRC considers Taiwan to be part of China, and the Taiwanese have, at least in the past, considered themselves to be the legitimate government of mainland China. The one thing the PRC has said would instantly cause them to attack would be Taiwan announcing it’s full independence.

What would happen if China did attack Taiwan has been written about in fiction for decades. The reality will be very different of course. The major question is what would the United States do? This is where the NeoCon Nincompoop from South Carolina decided it was just the right time to help push things along and get a war started. Here are the details from The Hill:

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said on Sunday that he is “open” to sending U.S. troops to Taiwan to defend the island, saying that “strategic ambiguity” is not working.

Fox News Sunday” anchor Shannon Bream asked Graham if the senator would support authorizing U.S. force in Taiwan if tensions rise between the island and China. Graham responded that Congress needs to ask itself whether the U.S. should have a defense agreement with Taiwan.

So the question for the Congress, should we have a defense agreement with the island of Taiwan? We don’t should we have one?” he said. “But yes, I’d be very much open to using U.S. forces to defend Taiwan, because it’s in our national security interest to do so.”

My first question would be to the Most Useless Idiot on Earth, has anyone asked the Taiwanese their opinion of American boots on the ground? The last I heard, they were just fine with defending themselves, and all they want is weapons, ammunition and equipment, which they would be happy to pay for.

My second question for this gutless RINO would be, “Are you on Crack?” While we do have some personnel on Taiwan, they aren’t set up as a defensive force and don’t have the numbers to do much. It’s more like a few Special operations groups, technical people and trainers working with the Taiwanese military. They wouldn’t be involved in hostilities unless directly attacked. It sounds like Graham wants so put a division of troops and a wing or two of planes in country.

Graham’s comments come on the heels of top GOP leaders meeting with Taiwan’s President Tsai Ing-wen last week. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) met with Tsai along with a bipartisan group of lawmakers and described the meeting as providing for “greater peace and stability for the world.”

I have no problem with political leaders talking with the Taiwanese government. I also have no problems with the United States talking with the PRC to try and cool things down. The problem with all this is that we have a President* who appears to be bought and paid for by the very same Chinese government.

Graham said that he would support sending aid to Taiwan because it is a “democracy.” He added that he “would increase training and give the F-16s they need” in Taiwan.

Well, finally, something we can agree on. If Taiwan wants to buy F-16s and other aircraft, then by all means, let them place orders with General Dynamics. I’m sure they would love the business. If they want F-15’s, then let them place orders with Boeing. I’m even willing to let them order some F-35’s, if they want them. I draw the line at stationing combat forces on Taiwan at this time. (Partly due to the mess the Biden Maladministration has made of the military)

I believe in a One China policy, but I would be willing to fight for Taiwan because Taiwan is a democracy. We stood with them for decades,” Graham told Bream.

So you believe in a One China policy, but you also support Taiwan? Do you understand just how dumb that statement sounds? Of course, if you actually mean a One China under the government of Taiwan, then it makes sense.

So I would up our game and if you don’t up your game now you are going to have a war,” he added.

Lindsey Graham has served in the Military. He was in the United States Air Force. He has never heard a shot fired in anger and his “MOS” or Military Occupational Specialty was a lawyer. The biggest risk this chairborn commando ever faced was getting a paper cut handling legal papers. Graham has no problem getting us into wars that we don’t need to be fighting and then preventing the military from actually winning. (Standard NeoCon tactics)

Lindsey Graham is a flat out coward of course. When the January 6th protest occurred, he was demanding that the Capitol Police open fire on unarmed demonstrators. The recent release of the security footage showed that police were basically acting as tour guide and traffic cops, and showing the protesters around. Apparently, Graham was to busy soiling himself to notice this. With any luck, he will be finally booted out of the Senate when his term is up.
