Red Sox fans show their “love” for Bud Light

Good day all. Sales of Bud Light continue to plummet like the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs. (Joe Biden survived) It’s gotten so bad that Anheuser-Busch has started to give away cases of Bud Light to the distributors.

Now the lost sales are really starting to hit home. Last Wednesday, (May 3rd), at Fenway Park, beer drinking Sox Fans should just how much they approve of the decision to use Dylan Mulvaney as the icon of the Budweiser Woman of the year. Here are the details from Fox News:

Boston Red Sox fans seemingly snubbed Bud Light vendors at Fenway Park on Wednesday, opting to purchase concessions at other stands as the beer brand remains embroiled in controversy over its partnership with transgender TikToker Dylan Mulvaney.

A video posted on TikTok by a user named Luis Tejada shows a packed line of fans waiting to buy refreshments in what appears to be the bleacher concourse section of Fenway Park while a nearby stand selling Bud Light beer cans is empty. The video has garnered over 1.2 million views and generated 8,909 comments as of Thursday afternoon.

Of course I’ve located the video. I don’t do TikTok since I have no interest in making things easy for the Ministry of State Security, however, it appears that Mr. Tejada also posted it on YouTube

For those of you who may not have picked up on it, it sounds like Mr. Tejada is a true blue Bostonian from his accent. His comments at the end of the clip are on the money. Someone in marketing needs to be held to account. (Actually it looks like the entire marketing department of Anheuser-Busch is playing the old CYA game.

The 38-second video was reportedly filmed Wednesday night during Boston’s game against the Toronto Blue Jays, who lost to the Sox 8-3.

The Blue Jays lost for two reasons. One, they’re from Canada. Two, the Red Sox had a couple of cases of Bud Light delivered to them as a “Good will gesture.”

The clip was the latest display of outrage among conservative Bud Light customers who’ve boycotted the brand following Mulvaney’s partnership that generated hefty backlash, prompting internal shakeups and boycotts across the country.

That loud splash you’re hearing is the sounds of thousands of gallons of Bud Light being dumped after reaching it’s expiration date. FYI, there is no truth to the rumor that Anheuser-Busch products have the same shelf life as Twinkies. It’s well known that Twinkies will still be as edible as Bud Light is drinkable at the heat death of the universe.

Anheuser-Busch CEO Michel Doukeris addressed the Bud Light controversy on an earnings call with investors Thursday, downplaying the brand’s partnership with the transgender influencer.

Doukeris told investors there is “misinformation” spreading on social media about the company’s team-up with Mulvaney.

“We need to clarify the facts that this was one can, one influencer, one post and not a campaign,” Doukeris said in an effort to distance from the Mulvaney controversy.

To late. That Clydesdale has left the barn, traveled to another state, undergone a a surgical procedure and now identifies as “My Little Pony.”

To combat those losses and its tarnished reputation with customers, the beer brewer is reportedly scrambling to “make amends” with wholesale distributors who’ve suffered from the controversial partnership by sending each wholesale distributor employee a free case of Bud Light, The Wall Street Journal reported.

Well, you will need to take some serious steps, such as firing the entire marketing division, the CEO and flat out repudiating the entire LBTGQABCXYZ nonsense. Basically, you’re going to need to bring in someone who can turn this whole thing around.
