Good day all. What more is there to say about Senator Lindsey Graham, (Pansy-SC) that hasn’t already been said? Plenty it seems. This gutless TransRepublican, (He’s been demoted from RINO), can’t seem to get it through his thick wimpy head that Americans do not want another war, especially with Russia.
So what did this gutless coward do this time? He is pushing a resolution to bring the Ukraine into NATO. Here are the details from Fox News:
Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., is facing rebuke from Republicans in the House and Senate after he touted his effort to pass a bipartisan resolution pushing for Ukraine to be admitted into NATO amid its war with Russia.
A rebuke is a polite way of saying “Are you out of your fucking mind?”
Discussing the effort in a tweet, Graham said he believes there’s “overwhelming” support for the proposal in the Senate and claimed that Ukrainian membership in NATO is “vital to the future security of Europe and the world.”
“I will be working with Republicans and Democrats in the Senate to pass a resolution urging the admission of Ukraine into NATO,” Graham said of the effort. “The best way to prevent future wars and promote peace is to create security guarantees that make aggressor nations think twice before starting wars.”
“Ukrainian NATO membership is vital to the future security of Europe and the world. I believe there is an overwhelming majority of Senators supporting this proposition,” he added.
The only support for this limp-wristed numbskull’s idea is in his feeble imagination. Senator Rand Paul rather loudly objected.
Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul shouted down Graham’s proposal in a Friday evening tweet, insisting that it is “exactly wrong” and warning that it has the potential to lead the United States into a war with Russia.
“Absolutely not. This is exactly wrong – as usual – and could very well lead us to war with Russia, something no one should want,” Paul said in response to a tweet from Graham.
Lindsey Graham is becoming the Republican version of Joe Biden. He’s pretty much wrong about everything. Other Republicans are also letting this coward know that they will not support this.
The senator also drew backlash from House Republicans, including Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., who wrote in a tweet: “I’m sure Lindsey Graham knows this, but this would mean American troops on the ground in Ukraine.”
I’m not so sure that moron does understand this. He did serve in the Air Force, but his role was serving canapes in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps with an occasional stint in a court room.
“The American people will not stand by and allow our troops to go die in someone else’s war,” the congresswoman added.
That is something the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump, understood. During his time in office the United States was involved in no new wars, and outside of Afghanistan and Iraq, no real military actions occurred, and only when we were attacked by a hostile force.
“Expansion of NATO, a Cold War relic, led to the rise of Putin, also a Cold War relic, culminating in the invasion of Ukraine. Expanding NATO further is not in the interests of US citizens,” Massie wrote in a tweet.
Before the Russians attacked the Ukraine, there was some discussions about having them join NATO, and that triggered Russia’s innate invasion paranoia. Already Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, which border Russia were allowed to join NATO. They don’t have that much of a military force and have historically suffered under Russian rule.
The Russians consider those countries and the Ukraine to be both their property and buffer states. They might tolerate the Baltic states as long as no real NATO forces go in. The Ukraine, prior to the invasion, was retraining their military to western standards, and as we’ve seen, once trained up and fully equipped, would pose a real threat to Putin Russia. There is the additional matter that most Americans don’t see a need for NATO, or at least American membership in it, any longer.
Echoing Massie, Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene spoke out against the proposal and insisted that “America doesn’t support” the senator’s proposal.
“This is madness. Everyone in Washington should be urging peace and stopping the war in Ukraine. Not bringing us to the brink of World War 3,” Greene wrote in a tweet. “The Ukraine war is destabilizing Europe and changing the world’s economies. America doesn’t support this.”
The list of tweets and other comments from Conservatives slamming Graham is lengthy. Many of them are referring to Graham as a warmonger, which he is. If the Ukraine were to be part of NATO while still at war with Russia would mean sending in NATO, mostly American forces. Without question, Putin would probably panic and push the button.
In any case, it’s really a moot point. The Ukraine won’t be allowed to join while at war with Russia for the very reason people such as Rand Paul have stated, It would mean an instant war with Russia since the NATO treat considers an attack on one member to be an attack on all members. (Something these morons pushing this seem to have forgotten)
Lindsey Graham might do well to actually speak to the people he’s allegedly representing in South Carolina. They will all come down hard on his proposal. They know that Graham, like all Neocons, is a warmonger at heart, as long as he doesn’t have to go. Perhaps, since Graham is so hot to help, maybe he should resign his seat and go to the Ukraine, pick up a rifle and head to the front lines.
This idiot idea from this limp-wristed wimp should be used as fodder by whoever on the Republican side goes after Graham. He as almost defeated last time in the Primary and the only reason this fairy survived was due to President Trump. This time, not even President Trump is going to save Graham from being booted out of office.
