Good day all. In the last week or so, video footage of a group of armed gang members moving about in an apartment complex has gone viral. At first, the Colorado governments, (City and State) denied that there was any problem at all.
The response to the to the denial by the victims and the rest of the country was massive. People flat out accused the city and state governments of refusing to do the one thing they’re supposed to be doing. Going after actual criminals. It looks like the repeated blows to the forehead might have knocked something loose in the City government and they’ve decided that in order to protect their phony baloney jobs, they need to go after the gang. Here are the details from Fox News:
Aurora, Colorado Mayor Mike Coffman announced on Friday that the city is starting the process of clearing the apartment buildings where transnational armed gang Tren de Aragua has taken over.

In a statement posted to Facebook, Coffman shared “the Aurora City Attorney’s Office is preparing court documents to request an emergency court order to clear the apartment buildings where Venezuelan gang activity has been occurring by declaring the properties a ‘Criminal Nuisance.’”
They should have started this process as soon as they were told about the problem.
“This will require a municipal judge to issue the order with the goal of getting these properties back under the control of the property owners. In the meantime, the law enforcement task force set up to disrupt and arrest Venezuelan gang members in these buildings will continue its operation. I strongly believe that the best course of action is to shut these building[s] down and make sure that this never happens again,” concluded Coffman.
While going through the normal legal process, they should be putting officers on site with cars patrolling through the area. I wonder if they’re doing that?

One has already been picked up. In an email to Fox News Digital, Aurora Police Department confirmed that Tren de Aragua leader “Cookie Monster” is currently in custody in relation to a shooting on July 28.
I’m sure that the D.A. will offer to drop any charges to misdemeanors and have him released with no bail.
The move to apprehend the armed Venezuelan gang members comes after a blitz of national media attention on the city of Aurora thanks to the efforts of Council Member Danielle Jurinsky. After assisting residents Cindy and Edward Romero on Wednesday, they were able to share a video which has since gone viral online and on the air.
I have a suspicion that if it hadn’t been for that video, absolutely nothing would have been done by the city officials even with the help of Ms. Jurinsky. The levels of flat out denial by Govno Polis and his office that there was any problem has been stupefying.
Colorado Governor Jared Polis has come under fire for his handling of the situation, including from Romero herself, saying the Democrat “wouldn’t last five minutes” in the building. His spokesperson, Shelby Weiman, told the New York Post on Thursday that the issue was “largely a feature of Danielle Jurinsky’s imagination.”
With all the bad press landing on both city of Aurora and Colorado, the Govno’s office has started to backpedal.
After a request for comment from Fox News Digital in response to Romero’s statement on America Reports, the governor’s office responded by saying “Colorado is a zero-tolerance state for illegal activity.”
Yeah, sure they do. It’s a Democrat state these days thanks to the Kalifornistan refugees who moved in and neglected to leave their bad ideas behind. They consider “Illegal activity” to be anything that interferes with their Progressive goals. You know, owning guns, free speech, Making America Great Again, things like that.
“The Governor hopes that the city of Aurora shares this basic value and will enforce the law. Over the last month, Governor Polis has been in regular contact with the City of Aurora and the Aurora Police Department and has offered all state assistance to support their efforts if requested,” said spokeswoman Shelby Wieman.

Considering that up until the video was made public, the city and state have been pretty much ignoring the problem, excuse me if I don’t believe anything you say.
“If Danielle Jurinsky has evidence of illegal activity in Aurora that can assist the investigation, it might even be illegal for her to withhold it from the Aurora Police Department and she should file a report immediately. The state has been ready for weeks to back up any operation by the Aurora Police Department needed to make Aurora safer,” the statement concluded.
From what I’ve been reading since all this broke, Ms. Jurinsky has been screaming from the rooftops that there is a major crime problem and that action needs to be taken. This looks like the standard Progressive Liberal Democrat strategy of blaming everyone else for their own incompetence.
Jurinsky noted she isn’t the only local official speaking out, though the governor’s office singles her out in statements. “There’s other council members speaking out on this, like there’s other council members speaking, and they just don’t have the platform that I do to really catch fire. But there are other council members speaking out. It’s not just me,” said Jurinsky in a call with Fox News Digital.
Oh gee, what a surprise. The office of Govno Polis lied that no one was trying to get help and reporting the crime problem. They just tried throwing Ms. Jurinsky under the bus and blame her for the issues.
Polis’ office did not respond to a request to clarify whether the governor’s statement was intended to threaten Jurinsky.
I think we can safely say that, yes, it was. In any case, Ms. Jurinsky is taking a well deserved victory lap. However, she mustn’t rest on her laurels. When it comes to not getting things done, the Democrats are experts.
“I hope that in the future, I will be taken more seriously and heard the first time I bring something to someone’s attention. Aurora is my hometown and well worth the fight! Thank you to all of the police officers and residents who helped me bring this to light,” Jurinsky added.
It won’t be and the reasons are simple. The gang in question, Tren de Aragua or TdA, is made up primarily of illegal aliens that the Democrats have allowed to invade the United States. The Progressive Narrative is that these are just “Harmless migrants looking for a better life.” With the increase in crime, a large part of it by illegal aliens, Americans and Lawful Resident Aliens are demanding that they be rounded up and deported, not coddled by people like Govno Jared Polis.
It is unclear when exactly the armed gang members will be apprehended and the buildings will be cleared.
How does the 5th of Never sound to you? Allowing the TdA to gain a foothold makes Jared Polis and the Democrats open borders and sanctuary polices look bad. If they actually have to do anything about this, it makes the Democrats look bad and that they will not stand for. If a few areas are basically handed over to a crime cartel and victimizes some proles, so be it. The only way Colorado is going to fix this is to boot every Democrat from office in November. The only question is, will they do it?
