Good day all. Last week I wrote a post regarding noted guntuber, Brandon Herrera being pushed as the next director of the Bureao of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms. Initially, everyone, including Mr. Herrera, saw this as a bit of a joke. While Mr. Herrera has made his feeling known regarding the ATF, no one actually thought he had a chance at the job.
However, the call to make Brandon Herrera the next, and hopefully last director of the ATF has exploded across the internet. There have been several people in Congress who have called for Brandon to be the Director, and the web site put up by Health and Human Services Secretary-Designate, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. currently has over 30,000 votes in favor of naming Mr. Herrera the ATF Director.
Over the weekend, Brandon Herrera released one of his “Gun Meme Reviews” where he basically commented on President Trump’s landslide victory and all the calls for him to be the director of the ATF. Here it is. Be advised, the language is a touch on the salty side.
Obviously, Brandon was having a great time with the idea of being the ATF director. There are a lot of people who, on the other hand, are absolutely terrified of Brandon Herrera as the Director of the ATF. Almost all of them work at the ATF and are the ones who have been shooting dogs and working to strip people of their 2nd Amendment rights. (Yet another reason he needs to be put in charge of that rats nest)
Now the Mostly Stupid Media is starting to pick up on the groundswell of support for “Director-Designate” Brandon Herrera. For instance, we have this from the San Antonio Express-News:
YouTuber, gun rights activist and former Congressional candidate Brandon Herrera, otherwise known as San Antonio’s “AK-Guy,” is vying to lead the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives under President-elect Donald Trump.
Technically, he is being pushed into it. As he said in his video last weekend, he wasn’t looking for the job, but if called, will serve.
In May, Hererra narrowly lost to U.S. Rep. Tony Gonzales in the GOP runoff election by 400 votes. The political hopeful is now gunning for another position. Last week, Herrera hinted at his desire to be appointed Trump’s ATF director.
That race caught a lot of the RINO’s off guard. Herrera and a few others forced Gonzales into a runoff and since Brandon came in with the second highest vote total, it was between him and Fat Tony. The Herrera campaign spent about $2 million dollars and the Gonzales campaign spent something like $11 million, and lied through their teeth. They still barely pulled out the win.
“If the Trump administration decided to ask me to become the Director of the ATF, I would gladly accept and help make America great again,” he wrote in a Nov. 9 social media post.
Herrera announced he’s got a few big changes coming for the ATF if he’s appointed its director.
“If I were to be considered for Director of the ATF, in my first 100 days I have a plan to hack, slash, and cripple that agency in ways it could never recover from,” he wrote Monday. “And when I’m done, I will ask President Trump to disband the agency entirely.”

As Director, there is a lot that Brandon Herrera can do to clean out the ATF. However, he would still be bound by the statutes passed into law by the Congress. Still, there would be nothing stopping him as Director from going to Congress and asking for legislation to correct the many issues with the Government’s unconstitutional restrictions on the 2nd Amendment.

Right off the bat, he could seek the end or serious modification to the National Firearms Act, followed by the Gun Control Act of 1968. (Which borrowed heavily from the Hitler’s stripping guns from his victims) Another thing he could do, as director, would be to audit the ATF and go after all the databases and records they are maintaining, in violation of the law, on gun owners.

Last year, at the invitation of the Representative Matt Gaetz and Marjorie Taylor-Greene, Brandon Herrera testified against the ATF. (There are two more people close to President Trump that can push Brandon Herrera as Director). Here is Brandon’s statement, along with his usual pithy comments.
In my previous post on Brandon Herrera for ATF Director, I included a poll. Currently, 165 people have voted in favor of Brandon Herrera as the next Director of the ATF. I think we can do better. To the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald J. Trump, please, please nominate Brandon Herrera as the next director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. He won’t just drain the swamp, he will set it on fire and then pour salt all over it so that no bureaucracy can ever grow there again.
Should Brandon Herrera be named Director of the BATF?
- Hell Yes! (84%, 141 Votes)
- Yes (16%, 26 Votes)
- No, it should be Michael Bloomberg because I'm a mamby pamby wimp (0%, 0 Votes)
Total Voters: 167
