Good day all. One of the things that President Trump is planning is rounding up and deporting the 10’s of millions of illegal aliens that the Biden-Harris maladministration allowed to invade the United States. That invasion, along with attempts to railroad some of their members, has driven the morale of the Border Patrol right into the dumpster.
When President Trump announced his plans to run again, members of the Border Patrol perked up. During the campaign, the Border Patrol union came out in support of President Trump and basically turned their backs on Biden and Harris. With the landslide victory of President Trump, morale within the border patrol has turned around and is skyrocketing upwards. Here are the details from the Daily Wire:
Morale among U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents has skyrocketed following Donald Trump’s landslide election victory last week, according to National Border Patrol Council President Paul Perez.
Trump made illegal immigration and border security central parts of his 2024 platform, promising to finish his southern border wall and conduct the largest deportation operation in U.S. history. Perez told Fox News in an interview on Monday that “morale is through the roof” among Border Patrol agents, adding, “We’ve received hundreds of calls, texts, emails, just saying how happy the agents are.”
“There are a lot of agents that had originally said that they would retire if President Trump did not win. And now those same agents are saying they’re going to hold back on their retirement because they want to serve under this administration again, because they know exactly how it was during this first administration, and they know this one’s going to be even better,” he continued.
That was one of the problems with the Biden maladministration. They fully intended and worked to gut the Border Patrol. They turned the Border Patrol and ICE into what amounted to a baby sitting service. In one notorious incident, the maladministration went after a couple of Agents who were on horseback, accusing them of using the reigns as whips. That was discredited in minutes, but they still put the agents through Hell with the intention of jailing them.
The Biden administration’s border policies led to around 10 million encounters along the southern border in less than four years. Numerous agents said they would resign if Vice President Kamala Harris won the election, with some describing working under the Biden-Harris administration as “four years in hell.”
Biden and Harris Have actively worked to wreck the United States and insure a single party, meaning Democrat, rule of the country. To do this, they and the Deep State needed to replace the voters that would reject their plans. As we saw with the recent election, that rejection is underway.
Trump has already taken action on preparing to carry out his immigration agenda, tapping Tom Homan, the former acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, to serve as the new “border czar.” Homan has promised to carry out Trump’s large-scale deportation operation.
“I’ve known Tom for a long time, and there is nobody better at policing and controlling our Borders,” Trump wrote. “Likewise, Tom Homan will be in charge of all Deportation of Illegal Aliens back to their Country of Origin. Congratulations to Tom. I have no doubt he will do a fantastic, and long awaited for, job.”
From what a lot of people have been saying regarding President Trump’s choices for his next administration, it looks like he’s learned a great deal from his first administration and the last four years. The people he’s selecting are either going to burn down parts of the bureaucracy, or, as in this case, rebuild an organization that was being trashed by Biden, Harris and Mayorkas. The fact that so many Border Patrol agents who were looking to retire or otherwise leave have changed their minds and are now looking forward to the change of administrations is telling.
With the decision by the Border Patrol’s union to endorse President Trump instead of Harris was a direct slap at Biden, Harris and the Democrats. It was also a big risk. If Harris had won, without question, within a few years, the border patrol would have been demolished and the borders gone. Now? The champagne corks have been popped and the Border Patrol agents are canceling their retirements and getting ready to get back to their real work, securing the borders.
