Good day all. With the complete collapse of the Harris-Walz campaign, and the landslide victory of the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump, comes news of a few personnel issues at the DNC. Thanks to the Harris Campaign following the standard progressive budgeting and spending protocols, the Democrats are $20 million dollars in the hole.

Since the Democrats have, as usual, run out of other people’s money to waste, they are now forced to do something they love accusing Conservatives of doing. Shafting the working man. (Or am I misgendering who actually pretends to work at the DNC? It’s hard to tell these days) They are doing layoffs. Here are the details from Newsmax:
The Democratic National Committee Staff Union on Monday hit out at party leadership over the decision to terminate permanent staff “with one day’s notice and no severance,” according to a press release.
In a statement on social media platform X, the DNC Staff Union says that the DNC as a whole is “facing the fallout of callous and shortsighted mismanagement by senior leadership,” adding that starting on Wednesday, “permanent employees were notified of their termination, effective Friday and with no severance pay.”
As someone who has been through several layoffs, allow me to show you you my sympathy to your situation.
When it comes to layoffs, those being targeted are almost never notified until the day it happens and the only severance packages you get are what the company owes you in salary and vacation time. Only once in my working life have I ever received any sort of a severance package.
The union notes that the DNC’s leaders would not “disclose … the full extent of these layoffs and whether additional cuts are planned,” and DNC “Chair Jaime Harrison and Executive Director Sam Cornale refuse to address their staff face to face and have offered no explanation for how these cuts were decided.”
According to the DNC Staff Union, “These cuts go far beyond typical campaign turnover and impact employees who were previously told their positions would be retained after the election.”
And you believed the DNC Leadership?

The union also notes that “despite record-breaking fundraising, the DNC failed to provide any financial support” to those being laid off, in contrast to the presidential campaign of Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, “which provided three weeks of severance to its staff, the DNC’s senior leadership has chosen to leave loyal staff scrambling to cover rent, medical expenses, and childcare costs.”
In case the Union hadn’t noticed, the Democrats spent over a billion dollars to lose the election. Towards the end, those donations started tailing off as the Progressive donor class figured out they were backing a losing hand this time. (They were also looking at buying property in Non-Extradition Treaty, “NET” countries and needed to move their money off shore) As for the Harris-Walz campaign? They might have done something smart and escrowed the money for the staffers ahead of time.
The statement added: “The DNC staff is proud of the values that our party stands for. We want to make it clear, however, that the principles we champion on the national stage have been disregarded in our own workplace.”
Oh that’s funny. The Democrat Party’s contempt for “The working class” has become obvious to millions of people. That’s one reason that President Trump won the election. As to why the DNC allowed a union to “represent” workers, is beyond me. I suspect it was for kickback reasons since Unions are generally seen by the Democrats as nothing more then a pool of money and free labor.
Now reality is smacking the Democrat staffers right in the face. People on the other side of the political aisle understand that things like this can and will happen. In the “Dreaded Private Sector,” companies try to avoid having to do layoffs, but know that it will, at times, be unavoidable. Since they know this can happen, they, at least the good ones, make some sort of preparations ahead of time.
Progressive Liberal Democrats? We see it time and time again. They live in the moment and generally don’t think very far ahead. Now you are finding out what it’s like to have to deal with things that people you have looked down your noses at have been dealing with for decades.
