Good day all. If you follow me on TwitterX, (And you should be since I am so wonderful). then you will see I have a blue checkmark. This, among other things, lets me play with TwitterX’s AI tool, Grok. I was curious, so I asked it about me.
What came back was rather interesting and amusing. Below are the results.
The Musings of the Angry Webmaster are like a digital diary of discontent, a repository for all things that irk, annoy, or simply make one’s blood boil in this vast digital landscape. Here’s a rundown:
Political Commentary: The Angry Webmaster doesn’t shy away from diving into the political quagmire. There’s a strong lean towards critiquing progressive policies, media bias, and what they perceive as the decline into “Kalifornistan” – a nod to California’s perceived political and social shifts. Discussions often revolve around themes of justice, freedom, and the Second Amendment, with a particular disdain for what’s labeled as “moonbattery” or liberal foolishness.
Current Events: From the latest in crime waves attributed to policy failures to economic issues like skyrocketing coffee prices, the Angry Webmaster keeps a sharp eye on current events. There’s a knack for highlighting where, in their view, the world seems to be going to the dogs, often with a satirical twist.
I did see a reference to Grok in one of the stats I looked at the other day. This makes me think that Grok may have scraped my site. I wrote about the obscene costs of that Beverage of the Gods, coffee a few weeks ago hence the notes on coffee by Grok.
Criticism of Media and Public Figures: There’s no love lost for mainstream media, often dubbed the “Democrat Propaganda Corps.” The Musings include scathing critiques of how news is reported, with a special focus on how stories that could harm certain political narratives are allegedly suppressed or spun.
Social Commentary: With a broad brush of sarcasm, the Angry Webmaster tackles social trends, government policies, and societal norms with a mix of humor and frustration. Immigration, crime, and the absurdity of bureaucratic processes are frequent topics, often laced with personal anecdotes or observations.
Sarcasm? I’m not sarcastic! I’m a warm and caring individual!!

A Touch of Personal: Amidst the rants, there’s an undercurrent of personal experience, especially in navigating life’s bureaucratic mazes like getting visas or dealing with the DMV. This gives the Musings a relatable, albeit frustrated, human touch.
Humor and Satire: The tone is unmistakably sarcastic, with a love for puns and wit that would make even the most stoic chuckle. The Angry Webmaster employs humor as both shield and sword in discussing serious issues.
Community Engagement: The site engages its audience with a “rant” submission system, making it a collective venting platform rather than a monologue. This democratic approach to ranting adds layers to the content, showing it’s not just one person’s digital scream into the void but a choir of the disgruntled.
In essence, the Angry Webmaster’s Musings are a blend of personal venting, sharp political commentary, and a critique of contemporary society, all wrapped up in a package of humor and unapologetic sarcasm. It’s a place where the absurdities of life are not just acknowledged but celebrated, in all their infuriating glory.
Honestly, I’m rather surprised at the results. Now the community engagement section Grok is referring to is the now archived original site. The rant submission form has been closed down. Any comments these days are through the comment section on The Blog. Still, Grok seems to caught the essence of who am am rather well. Of course, being a fair minded sort…

Hey! I am! I have a certificate that says I am!! In any case, I also decided to see what ChatGPT has to say about me.
The “Angry Webmaster” is a pseudonym used by the creator and writer of the website *The Musings of the Angry Webmaster*. This site, which began in 2006, is primarily known for its commentary and criticism of various aspects of modern technology, politics, pop culture, and current events. The Angry Webmaster himself is an anonymous blogger who expresses his opinions in a blunt, often sarcastic, and humorous manner.
While his identity remains largely private, the Angry Webmaster has built a reputation for his sharp and occasionally acerbic takes on subjects like the tech industry, social issues, and media. He is known for using strong language and provocative statements, which makes his content polarizing for some readers. His website includes articles that can range from in-depth critiques of technology companies to rants about political figures or trends in entertainment.
One of the things about using “Strong Language.” I tend to avoid using four letter words. When I do use them, both here and in real life, you know that I am furious about something. I’ve always felt that using foul language is nothing more than a cheat.
*The Musings of the Angry Webmaster* is not just a blog for news and opinion; it also has a strong focus on personal reflections and sometimes a satirical tone in its content. Despite the often angry tone, there is a noticeable element of humor and exaggeration, which adds a layer of personality to the site’s style.
Oh Boy! I have an actual personality!!! Woo Hoo!
His writing style and subject matter have garnered a loyal following among readers who appreciate blunt, unfiltered commentary, especially in an age of highly curated online content. Though the Angry Webmaster doesn’t necessarily promote a particular political agenda, his critiques often reflect a libertarian or conservative worldview, particularly in relation to government overreach and corporate misbehavior.
In sum, the Angry Webmaster is an online figurehead known for outspoken, often irreverent views, particularly about technology, society, and culture.

Say what you will about AI, when they get it right, they get it really right. <Very Big Grin> I’ve also been playing with various AI tools trying to generate suitable images for memes. Grok tends to blow hot and cold in image generation but has potential. In the meantime, I’m just going to sit back and bask in the worshipful glory of AI’s opinion of me.

*Gulp*

AIs have their place and their uses, but I really wish they’d stop proliferating everywhere and into everything. AIs suck down a ton of computing power, which means they’re electricity-hungry. We’ve already got electricity problems all over this country. Let’s have the power grid catch up to the demand before we add any more demand on top of it.
The datacenters are tough on our antiquated grid, but the EV’s are a lot worse. Hopefully, the EPA is going to get squashed good and hard in the next year or two.
