Good day all. It’s been an exciting week since the swearing in of the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump, to his second term of office. He’s been freeing the unjustly imprisoned, cleaning up the mess left by the Biden Maladministration and begun the mass deportations of illegal aliens.
Another thing he has been doing is cleaning house, so to speak. He has already put acting secretaries and directors into the various departments and agencies to handle things until the permanent secretaries and directors have been confirmed by the Senate. This is to short circuit the plans of the Deep State to sabotage President Trump’s administration the way they did in his first term. As part of this, President Trump just handed a number of Biden Appointees their walking papers. Here are the details from the New York Post:
President Trump started purging more than 1,000 appointees from former President Joe Biden’s administration overnight – starting with celebrity chef Jose Andres and embattled retired Gen. Mark Milley.
The new commander-in-chief fired off an “official notice of dismissal” to four Biden appointees in a midnight social media post, bluntly warning that his team is hunting down even more people to ax.
“Our first day in the White House is not over yet! My Presidential Personnel Office is actively in the process of identifying and removing over a thousand Presidential Appointees from the previous Administration, who are not aligned with our vision to Make America Great Again,” Trump posted on Truth Social.
“Let this serve as Official Notice of Dismissal for these 4 individuals, with many more, coming soon,” he said. “YOU’RE FIRED!” he added, recycling his catchline from his time on TV’s “The Apprentice.”
Among the first to be booted was Milley, who was given a preemptive pardon by Biden just hours before leaving the White House. The retired general served on the National Infrastructure Advisory Council.
Those preemptive pardons are being looked into. Milley probably committed insubordination, probably mutiny and potentially treason as defined by the Constitution. He is, or was, everything that is wrong with the Department of Defense. President Trump also yanked his security clearances as well.
Milley, also the former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, has publicly called Trump a “wannabe dictator.” Trump has previously suggested Milley should be executed for holding back-channel talks with China.
I don’t know about executed, but definitely jailed if this actually happened.
A portrait of Milley was removed from the Pentagon fewer than three hours after Trump’s inauguration Monday.
And, hopefully, set on fire.
Trump officials said their plan is to be swift to also highly select in who they fill the ranks with.
“The biggest mistake I made” was hiring “bad people, or disloyal people,” Trump told Joe Rogan in an interview last year.
This is what people mean when they say “Trump learns.” Unlike many, if not most political hacks, when President Trump makes a mistake, he learns from it and makes sure he doesn’t repeat it. It’s pretty much agreed that President Trump wasn’t as ready as he should have been for his first term. He as just hitting his stride when he suffered a case of “Fraud Caused Presidentus Interruptus” and spent four years out of office. It’s obvious that he spent that time preparing for January 20th, 2025.
It looks like President Trump and his team have taken Henry Kissinger’s advice on what actions a new president should take when he assumes office.
“A president should fire everyone he can and a few of those he can’t.”
It looks like President Trump has made a good start. Next up, seeing how many bureaucrats he can either fire or can cause to hand in their resignations.
