Good day all. We have yet another win for the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump. The Senate has confirmed Tulsi Gabbard as the Director of National Intelligence.

The vote 52-48 along a party line vote, with one exception. To the surprise of no one, the Deep State Uniparty RINO, Mitch McConnell voted with the Democrats.

Despite an uphill battle before her first hurdle in the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, the former Democratic representative managed to come back and get key Republicans to support her in her bid to oversee the nation’s intelligence agencies.
With the coordinated and persuasive assistance of Chairman Tom Cotton, R-Ark., and Vice President JD Vance, crucial senators who had lingering concerns about Gabbard were convinced to back her in the crucial committee vote last week, including Sens. Susan Collins, R-Maine, and Todd Young, R-Ind.
Collins is basically a Democrat. I don’t know anything about Todd Young. The Democrats went after Ms. Gabbard for several reasons, one of them being that she left the Democrat Party and has now joined the Republican Party. When she left the Democrats, she had nothing good to say about them.

Trump announced his selection of Gabbard for DNI in November shortly after being elected. “I am pleased to announce that former Congresswoman, Lieutenant Colonel Tulsi Gabbard, will serve as Director of National Intelligence (DNI),” he said in a statement at the time.
“For over two decades, Tulsi has fought for our Country and the Freedoms of all Americans. As a former Candidate for the Democrat Presidential Nomination, she has broad support in both Parties – She is now a proud Republican! I know Tulsi will bring the fearless spirit that has defined her illustrious career to our Intelligence Community, championing our Constitutional Rights, and securing Peace through Strength. Tulsi will make us all proud!”
One of the groups that are terrified of Tulsi Gabbard are the three letter intelligence agencies, starting with the CIA. She is not someone they can pull the wool over. She is also very skeptical of a lot of the the intelligence data that has been provided to President Trump and past presidents.
Personally, I actually considered voting for Ms. Gabbard when she was running for President. However, there were a couple of issues I just couldn’t get past. (Her being a Democrat was also a major issue) It does appear that she has moved more to my ways of thinking. (Ok, stop with the jokes. You know what I mean) It will be interesting to see how she does the job in the coming year(s). Congratulations to Tulsi Gabbard.
