Good day all. I used to rag on Chicago’s previous mayor, Lori Lightfoot as arguably the worst mayor Chicago’s ever had. When she chose to run for reelection, she was shown the door by the voters. Her replacement, Brandon Johnson, who people thought couldn’t be any worse that Lightfoot.
Johnson’s response was, “Hold my beer and watch this!” Since he took office, everything that could go wrong, has, most of it with his help. One of the things this moron has done was attract the attention of the Trump administration. First it was his moves to protect illegal aliens and now it was for his claims that he is actively discriminating against people with light colored skin with regards to hiring. Here are the details from the Hill:
Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson (D) slammed President Trump and his administration on Wednesday after officials said they would launch a probe into the city’s hiring practices.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) sent a letter to Johnson inquiring about racial bias in the Windy City’s hiring practices following the mayor’s Sunday comments at a local church in Woodlawn, Ill.
So Johnson shot his big mouth off stating that he is using skin color in his hiring decisions, and now he’s surprised that he’s being asked to clarify his remarks? That sounds like they gave you an out. Did you take it? Of course he didn’t.
“As far as, you know, the president’s animus towards women, people of color, working people, we have always known who he has been,” Johnson said during a Wednesday press conference. “This is not a surprise. He’s a monster.”
“We have the most diverse administration in the history of Chicago, and he is threatened by that,” he added.
Since President Trump took office, he has been going after, among other things, everything revolving around the racist policy known as Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, aka DEI. The Democrats, who are, by and large, a racist organization, have been pushing DEI for almost a decade. In general, if you are a white heterosexual male, you may as well forget applying to any job where the HR policies push DEI. It seems someone didn’t tell Mayor Johnson that the times, they are changing and people are tired of being judged by their skin color, no matter what that color may be.
Earlier in the week, while speaking at the Apostolic Church of God, Johnson, who is also Black, said he hired more Black people in his administration because they’re the “most generous people on Earth.”
Talk about putting a target on your back? You didn’t do just that, you also activated a laser for the guidance system of the political missile you just called on on yourself.
Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon responded to the comments in a letter sent to the mayor on Monday.
“If these kind of hiring decisions are being made for top-level positions in your administration, then it begs the question whether such decisions are also being made for lower-level positions,” Dhillon wrote.
That is an interesting question.
Johnson argued the investigation was launched out of fear.
“You can tell when someone is fearful is because they act out,” Johnson said Wednesday. “We have a president that is screaming and having tantrums right now because we have an administration that reflects the city of Chicago, but he would much rather have administrations that reflect the country club. Period.”
Oh this is going to be fun to rip apart. First, is Mayor Brandon Johnson familiar with Rhode Island senator Sheldon Whitehouse? He is a Democrat and he belongs to, or did until it was discovered and blasted all over the internet, to a Whites Only country club. As for calling the Trump administration racist, they are far more “Diverse” then the previous administration.
For instance, you might want to look at the Assistant Attorney General who sent you that letter. She is a naturalized American who was born in India. Then you have the wife of the Vice President of the United States, Usha Vance. She was born in the United States to parents who immigrated here from India. There are many others as well. Why? Because President Trump, unlike you, doesn’t care about a person’s skin color, only if he or she can do the job.
You may also have forgotten that when President Trump bought Mar-a-lago and turned it into a country club, he opened it to anyone who could afford the membership. He didn’t care if they were black, white, Jewish or from Mars. This was unheard of in Palm Beach at the time.
“He is most comfortable around people who think and look like him,” the mayor added.
Projecting much there dumb dumb?
Following the DOJ announcement, Johnson’s office released a demographic breakdown of his office. His staff members are 34.3 percent Black, 30.5 percent white, 23.8 percent Hispanic and 6.7 percent Asian, as reported by local outlet ABC7.
That’s nice. I find it interesting that you have those numbers handy. My question is, are they competent for the jobs they have? Considering what a dumpster fire Chicago is, I suspect not. I also suspect that like his predecessor, Lori Lightfoot, he is also going to be a one term mayor. I think this is why this jerk is spouting off.
He knows that people in Chicago have had it with his incompetence and are now looking for yet another Democrat to replace him. (Hey, it’s Chicago. No Republicans need apply) He probably sees the writing on the wall and is resorting to the usual tactic of Progressive Liberal Democrats everywhere when things go wrong. Blame everyone else and call them racists. Nice try dumbass. That isn’t working any longer. Enjoy your remaining time as mayor. The ash heap of history awaits.
