Good day all. Sometimes things move way to fast to keep up, such as posting about this. For the last few months, as President Trump’s team has been rounding up and deporting illegal aliens, the Democrats have been having temper tantrums. They landed on one criminal who was deported, nicknaming him “Maryland Man” since that was were he had been hiding out.
The Democrats, along with an Obama and Biden judge or two, have been demanding that this criminal, Kilmar Abrego Garcia be returned to the United States and set free. They have totally ignored his criminal activities. Unfortunately for Garcia, the DoJ has been paying attention. Now the Democrats have their greatest heart’s desire and Kilmar Abrego Garcia is back in the United States. Of course, it wasn’t the way they wanted. Here are the details from Fox News:
Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia, a Salvadoran national deported earlier this year, is now back on U.S. soil — but this time, in handcuffs.
Attorney General Pam Bondi on Friday announced that Abrego Garcia, 29, has landed in the U.S. and is set to face federal charges for human smuggling and conspiracy.
“Abrego Garcia has landed in the United States to face justice,” said Bondi. “A grand jury in the Middle District of Tennessee returned a sealed indictment charging him with alien smuggling and conspiracy.”
According to the indictment, Abrego Garcia played a “significant role” in a human smuggling ring operating for nearly a decade. Bondi described him as a full-time smuggler who made more than 100 trips, transporting women, children and MS-13 gang-affiliated persons throughout the U.S.
The Democrats were repeatedly warned that their “Poster child” was not what they were claiming. It wasn’t even Law Enforcement that was digging up all the dirt on Garcia, but “Interested third parties.” Instead of backing off, the Democrats and certain judges doubled down on stupid. Now they are the ones trying to flush this all down the memory hole. Sorry, but that isn’t going to happen.
The grand jury also heard allegations that Abrego Garcia trafficked firearms, narcotics and solicited explicit images of a minor. He is even accused by a co-conspirator of being involved in the murder of a rival gang member’s mother. He faces up to 10 years in prison for each person he is charged with trafficking.
Yeah, if he’s convicted of all the charges, he won’t have to worry about being deported. He will probably die of old age in a supermax prison.
Pam Bondi thanked El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele for cooperating with the U.S. government and returning Abrego Garcia after the U.S. presented an arrest warrant. “This is what American justice looks like,” she said.
Happily, President Bukele and President Trump seem to be getting along quite nicely. President Bukele also seems to be rather popular in El Salvador, especially since he’s been successful in dealing with all the criminals. His rather polite slaps to the face of the Democrats was fun to watch.
When people like Chris Van Hollen and Judge Paula Xinis fkat out demanded that El Salvador send this dirtbag back and in the case of Judge Xinis ordered the Trump Administration to do whatever it took, (Leading many to comment that she wanted the United States Marines sent in), you know that the Leftards have lost what passes for their minds. Well, they go their wish, just not the way they wanted.
Court filings submitted Friday in the District of Maryland confirm that the government has complied with an April 4 preliminary injunction ordering his return. “Abrego Garcia was returned to the United States today, to stand trial,” federal attorneys wrote in the notice.
“The Justice Department’s Grand Jury Indictment against Abrego Garcia proves the unhinged Democrat Party was wrong, and their stenographers in the Fake News Media were once again played like fools,” a Trump administration statement said. “Abrego Garcia was never an innocent ‘Maryland Man’ — he is an illegal alien terrorist, gang member, and human trafficker… Democrat lawmakers like Senator Chris Van Hollen and the so-called ‘journalists’ who defended this criminal must immediately apologize to his victims.”
I don’t see that happening. What I do see happening is the legacy media and the Democrats ignoring what happened and pretending that Garcia doesn’t actually exist.
Court records show Abrego Garcia entered the U.S. illegally in 2011 and was ordered deported in 2019. He will be prosecuted and, if convicted, serve his sentence in the U.S. before being returned to El Salvador, officials confirmed.
And, if by some miracle, (Or the whims of an Obama or Biden judge), he isn’t convicted, he just gets sent back even sooner.
“For the last two months, the media and Democrats have burnt to the ground any last shred of credibility they had left as they glorified Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a known MS13 gang member, human trafficker, and serial domestic abuser,” Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem told Fox News Digital.
“Today, the United States of America confronts Kilmar Abrego Garcia with overwhelming evidence — he is being indicted by a grand jury for human smuggling, including children, and conspiracy. Justice awaits this Salvadoran man.”
If there is any real justice, Garcia should be sharing a cell block with a few members of congress. As it is, this should be used against the Democrats in the next election cycle. They have formally declared that they are going to put foreign nationals and hardened criminals ahead of American citizens. We’re currently seeing the results of these policies in Los Angeles. (More on that later)
We’ve already had one leftard Federal Prosecutor resign from office claiming that the Garcia prosecution is political. This should tell you all you need to know about the Democrats and their views on the law, and the constitution. It’s going to cost a lot of money to try Garcia, not to mention housing him in a Federal prison for a few decades.
It would have been a lot cheaper to leave him in the hands of President Bukele. I suspect that the DoJ has a good, solid case and that they will be getting a conviction. Right now, I have little doubt that Garcia is wishing that Senator Van Hollen and the other Democrats had just kept their mouths shut.
