Democrats being Democrats. NYC Mayoral candidate arrested by ICE

Good day all. If it’s a day ending in a “Y”, then we have another story of Democrats putting illegal aliens over American Citizens and Legal Resident Aliens. In the past, (Under the Biden Maladministration), this was Standard Operating Policy. In 2024, people had enough and brought back someone they knew would put Americans first.

Since taking office, President Trump and his team have all but shut down illegal immigration into the United States. Under Border Czar, Tom Homan, (What is his official title anyway?), has been rounding up thousands of illegal aliens a day. This has led the Democrats to not only scream in rage, but actively interfere with ICE agents.

In the past, generally nothing would happen to these people. Now, things are very different. We have two judges currently under arrest and awaiting trial, a sitting member of the house of Representatives under indictment for assault an ICE agent, (Among other things), and now it looks like a New York City mayoral candidate is going to be added to the list of Democrats on trial. Here are the details from the New York Post:

City Comptroller Brad Lander was dramatically arrested by ICE agents at a federal immigration courthouse in Manhattan Tuesday — in a chaotic, caught-on-camera moment that will likely give his humdrum mayoral campaign a boost.

Not if he’s prosecuted. It’s hard being mayor when you’re doing 3-5 years in a federal prison.

The progressive Democrat spent about four hours in custody before he ambled out of 26 Federal Plaza, escorted by his wife and Gov. Kathy Hochul, and announced the assault and obstruction charges against him were dropped.

Who dropped the charges? Was this a local issue? In that case it doesn’t surprise me. However, if this is federal, I want some answers.

Speaking to reporters and supporters outside, Lander wasted no time blasting incumbent Mayor Eric Adams and Democratic mayoral primary frontrunner Andrew Cuomo, declaring New Yorkers “deserve a mayor who will protect the rights of immigrants.”

How about protecting the rights of American citizens and legal resident aliens instead of criminals? Has that crossed your mind you scum sucking dirtbag?

Eye-popping video showed Lander being manhandled and cuffed by the feds after the comptroller vocally protested masked federal agents hauling away a man — whom the comptroller later identified as “Eduardo” — leaving an immigration hearing.

Lander repeatedly demanded to see a judicial warrant as he kept his hand clutched on the detainee’s shoulder, but the agents did not produce one, video obtained by The Post shows.

Perhaps this lummox might want to review the actual laws. ICE doesn’t need a warrant to arrest an illegal alien with the intention of booting them out of the United States.

“You don’t have the authority to arrest US citizens,” Lander repeated in protest, video shows. 

If this person was a U.S. citizen then he wouldn’t have been in an immigration court in the first place you moron.

Lander was arrested for allegedly assaulting law enforcement and impeding a federal officer, Tricia McLaughlin, a spokesperson for the US Department of Homeland Security, said.

“Our heroic ICE law enforcement officers face a 413% increase in assaults against them — it is wrong that politicians seeking higher office undermine law enforcement safety to get a viral moment,” she said in a statement. “No one is above the law, and if you lay a hand on a law enforcement officer, you will face consequences.”

So who dropped the charges? Inquiring minds want to know!! In any case, this walking diaper stain is using this to boost his political chances in the mayoral race in NYC. Like all the Democrats of late, he has no use for the people who actually have the right to vote.

“Eduardo is in ICE detention and he’s not gonna sleep in his bed tonight,” he said.  “As far as I know, he has no lawyer. He has been stripped of his due process rights.”

So what? The goal is to send him home to the third world dumpster fire he came from and not keep him in the United States, being housed and fed by the taxpayers one second longer than necessary. We aren’t looking to put him in prison, unless he has committed other crimes, in which case he will be put on trial and get a lawyer.

Opponents of Trump’s hardline crackdown in the Big Apple have decried ICE agents detaining immigrants for potential deportation after they show up for routine court hearings.

ICE and other assisting federal agents have been showing up at court houses around the country for the express purpose of picking up illegals and evicting them from the United States. Why? Because of places like New York that are actively aiding and abetting illegals. Maybe if you actually honored detainer memos and called ICE when an illegal was about to be released, you wouldn’t have ICE in the hallways doing their job.

Lander had locked arms with two or three immigrants before the kerfuffle, and had let go when ICE moved in to make an arrest, sources said. But during the final escort, Lander would not release his arms to let the feds take custody and had pushed their hands away, sources said.

Well, that explains the arrest. This mental midget was blocking ICE in the performance of their duties. Now as to his chances of becoming mayor, who cares? From what I’ve seen, the entire crop of candidates on the Democrat side, and this includes the incumbent, Adams even though he’s running as an independent, are a pack of literal Marxists and Communists. All any of them will accomplish is the continuing collapse of the Big Apple into a pile of rotting mush. NYC needs a real Republican mayor like Rudy Giuliani if it hopes to not end up the way John Carpenter portrayed in in his film, Escape from New York.

***Update***

The primary for the NYC mayor was held and this clown’s antics were no help at all. Instead, it looks like the Manhattan Marxists are planning to full on communist and actually elect a communist as mayor. As for Brad Lander, he has gone from candidate to “Who are you?”
