The Department of Innovation?

Hey all, you are NOT going to believe THIS one! I was finishing up some blog posts when I saw this one come in from my favorite Conservative columnist lady, Michelle Malkin the Magnificent.

Ms. Malkin the Mighty found a new department of the U.S. Government It’s called the Department of Innovation and is being run out of the Smithsonian. Ignoring the Atlas Shrugged feeling of this, one of Michelle’s readers spotted something odd about the logo. See if you can spot it as well:

I had a problem at first, but once it’s pointed out you can see the problem. Notice how the interlocking gears are configured. There is absolutely no way these gears can turn. They lock each other up tightly.

To quote from Ms. Malkin:

And that, my friends, is your government logo fail of the day…

Your tax dollars at work. Aren’t you happy the debt ceiling was raised?
