Good day all. One of the biggest pieces of trash in the House of Representatives is Jasmine Crockett. (D-Texas) That loudmouthed bigot has angered everyone in the GOP. It looks like the State of Texas is about to do something about her.
Texas is preparing to do some serious redistricting and add more seats to their delegation. They are also breaking out the old “Mander of Gerry” and make as many of the district Republican seats. Before you start screaming, New York, Illinois and other Democrat controlled states have been doing the same things for decades. One of the targets is Crockett herself. Here are the details from Fox News:
A gerrymandered map proposed by the Texas GOP would kick firebrand Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett out of her own district and likely add more House seats to the Lone Star’s Republican delegation.
Last week, Texas House Republicans introduced a redistricting proposal that could net five new GOP seats. The draft congressional map, which is likely to change before approval by both state legislative chambers, aims to redraw district lines to include more Republican-leaning areas in Democratic strongholds like Dallas and Houston.
The redistricting usually occurs every 10 years after the census has been completed Texas, and I gather several other states are redistricting are doing it mid-decade. To be perfectly honest, I have no idea why or even if it’s constitutional. It does appear that Texas is going to pick up 5 new House seats as Kalifornistan and New York lose several seats. (I believe Florida is doing this too and is picking up some seats as well)
Crockett, who serves Texas’ 30th Congressional District, which represents a large part of Dallas, has called the redistricting effort “a power grab to silence voters.”
No you blithering idiot. It’s meant to silence YOU. Not your right to speak and make a complete ass of yourself, but your ability to annoy everyone else in the country as a member of the House. The voters? They can continue to vote. They can even vote for you in your new district.
She has claimed that before Republicans unveiled the map, she was asked to verify her address alongside other incumbent Democratic members of Congress.
You know, I kind of hope this is true and not another one of her lies. It’s just absolute epic trolling. Yes, she is trying to make this look like a plan to get her. It probably is, politically speaking. I just don’t think it’s going to generate the reaction she thinks it will.
The Fox article goes on to explain the new districts and some of the reasons for the redistricting. One major reason is the increase in seats for Texas, and a good chance that they will all go Republican. This is generating blind panic among the Democrats.
Last week, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., called fighting the proposed map an “all-hands-on-deck moment.”
“We will fight them politically. We will fight them governmentally. We will fight them in court. We will fight them in terms of winning the hearts and minds of the people of Texas and beyond,” Jeffries said last week during a press conference in Austin.
This clown is so out of touch it’s not funny. Where Pelosi is a corrupt and ruthless partisan, she at least knew how to wield the speakers gavel. Jeffries would have trouble wielding a crayon.
Jeffries said that while corporations and universities fall in line with Trump, “Texas Democrats will not bend the knee.”
The ones in the Texas state legislature are already planning to run away and hide in another state. That is their usual tactic when something is going to happen that they don’t like.
Standing alongside Jeffries, Texas Democratic Rep. Lizzie Fletcher warned that redistricting efforts like those in the Lone Star State could spread nationwide as part of a broader push to bolster Republican power.
“People across the country are watching what we are doing in Texas,” Fletcher said.
And the problem with that is, what again? Now, as I mentioned above, redistricting now instead of the normal 10 years is not something I’ve heard of ever happening before. Since I wanted to know about this, I did a search. Using both Duck Duck Go and Grok, I found that this has happened before. Usually it was do to a court order of some sort. Another reason, and I think this is the one that Texas is using, is significant changes in population.
Without question, Texas has seen a massive influx over the last 5+ years as has Florida. Many of these new people fled the Democrat controlled state and if not actual Republicans, tend to be voting in that direction. This is what’s driving the Democrats absolutely crazier than usual. If Texas and Florida do a formal redistricting and add congressional seats before the 2026 midterms, the odds are those seats will go to the Republicans, increasing their hold on the House of Representatives.
This is something the Democrats will literally stop at nothing to block. Right on schedule, the Texas Democrats have thrown a temper tantrum and run away. According to Fox News, most, if not all of the Texas Democrats have left Texas so that there won’t be a quorum. No quorum, no redistricting. This is another story in and of itself and is breaking now. I’ll probably write about the latest Liberal temper tantrum later on.
In the mean time, I am going to sit back and watch that Leftard loser Jasmine Crockett go into a full blown meltdown. I suspect that she is terrified of having to go back to the private sector. I guess ambulance chasing really isn’t that lucrative these days and she may have to start a new career in the food services industry.
