Good day all. For the last month or so, more and more news has been coming out regarding Senator Adam Schiffhead’s potential legal problems. First it was a referral to the DoJ regarding potential mortgage fraud and more recently, information that Schiffhead and Eric Swalwell may have orchestrated leaks of classified information during President Trump’s first term.
Throughout all this, Schiffhead has maintained his innocence and said it was all a plot by President Trump. So certain of his innocence and that this is all a conspiracy, Adam Schiffhead has announced the formation of a legal defense fund. Here are the details from Newsmax:
Sen. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., has formed a new legal defense fund in recent days as President Donald Trump threatens him with federal investigations, The New York Times reported on Tuesday.
“It’s clear that Donald Trump and his MAGA allies will continue weaponizing the justice process to attack Senator Schiff for holding this corrupt administration accountable,” said the senator’s spokeswoman Marisol Samayoa. “This fund will ensure he can fight back against these baseless smears while continuing to do his job.”
So, the scumbag who flat out lied across the board regarding President Trump, and attempted what amounts to a coup to force President Trump from office is accusing President Trump of lawfare? Isn’t that cute?
Schiff led congressional inquiries into Trump during the president’s first term in the White House, serving as the lead impeachment manager in his first impeachment and then on the committee that probed the Jan. 6, 2021 protest at the Capitol.
Schiffhead’s actions on the J6 committee earned him a Biden Autopen pardon. I don’t need to go into the whole Russia Files business. We know that it was all a lie and that Schiffhead flat out abused his office. Now it seems that some of the potential charges may revolve around that fake investigation.
Trump has publicly called for his administration to investigate Schiff, including in remarks at the Kennedy Center on Aug. 13, when he addressed Attorney General Pam Bondi, saying “I’m looking at Pam because I hope something’s going to be done about it.”
Attorney General Bondi has put Ed Martin in charge of the investigations into both Schiffhead and Letitia James. He is currently reviewing all the information and documents to see if there is enough to warrant indictments. Unlike the Garland DoJ, I don’t think the Bondi DoJ is going to just make stuff up. If they do indict Schiffhead, then you can bet they have the receipts and can prove everything in court.
Records show that paperwork for the “Senator Schiff Legal Defense Fund” filed with the Internal Revenue Service is dated Aug. 14, a day after Trump’s remarks, according to The New York Times.
While there is no doubt that AG Bondi is working for President Trump, and supports what he is doing, she is still an officer of the court and must be absolutely certain on any cases she signs off and hands to the prosecutors. First, it looks like she’s learned her lesson from the Epstein files screw up. Second, if and when the shoe drops on Adam Schiffhead, and hopefully Letitia James, the cases against them will be solid and air tight.
I have a sneaking suspicion that Schiffhead knows the evidence against him is real, unlike the garbage he was spewing about President Trump. It’s solid and will stand up both in the court of law and the court of public opinion. Now we get to see just how much money he raises for his criminal defense and if it will do any good.
