Good day all. When James Comey was the Director of the FBI, he had two priorities, neither of which was upholding the law. First, he did everything he could to protect Felonia von Pantsuit, who has been breaking laws with abandon since she achieved adulthood. His second priority was to Get Trump!

President Trump quickly figured out what a sleaze Comey was and fired him. It later came out that he was part of the coup attempt revolving around the fake Russia dossier put out by Felonia von Pantsuit. Eventually, Comey ended up in front of a congressional oversight committee and asked some pointed and uncomfortable questions. It appears that he lied. Now there are reports that James Comey is going to be indicted. Here are the details from Fox News:
The Justice Department is seeking to indict former FBI Director James Comey for perjury as the deadline to bring charges looms, Fox News has learned.

The probe into Comey centers on whether he lied to Congress during his Sept. 30, 2020, testimony about his handling of the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election.
Under federal law, prosecutors have five years to bring a charge, with the five-year mark occurring next Tuesday. The case is being handled by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia.
So the statute of limitations is about to kick in? I can see why the rush. By rights, he should have been charged years ago, but he was being protected by Merrick Garland and Christopher Wray. (Two more people who should be indicted in my opinion) From the little I’ve seen, the DoJ does appear to have a case.
“DOJ officials are close to deciding whether to prosecute former FBI Director James Comey for allegedly lying to Congress in September 2020,” a source said. “There is a grand jury underway looking at the matter in Virginia. A decision could come any day.”
I have a suspicion that the decision has already been made and the DoJ is busy crossing every T and dotting every I. On the other hand, we have Pam Bondi. She’s been quiet on this matter, which can be a good thing or a bad thing. If she does go through with the indictment, and the charges and the evidence is solid, it will put her on a better footing with the GOP base.

On the other hand, if she waffles or drops the ball, I think that will be the end of her term as Attorney General. The only reason for not indicting Comey is if the evidence just isn’t there. If she were to show this, then, just maybe, she might survive another month. In any case, I will believe that Comey has been indicted when I see the FBI SWAT team kick in his door at 3am, toss in flash/bang grenades along with tear gas, shoot his dog and drag him and everyone else out in handcuffs.

Well, we only have a few days to wait, and then we will find out. So what is your take? Will Comey be indicted?
***UPDATE***
Well, that was annoying. No sooner then I put the finishing touches on this post then news breaks that Comey has been indicted. According to Fox News:
Former FBI Director James Comey was indicted by a grand jury on alleged false statement and obstruction of justice charges, Fox News Digital has learned.
Fox News Digital exclusively reported in July that Comey was under criminal investigation by the FBI. The probe into Comey centered on whether he lied to Congress during his Sept. 30, 2020, testimony about his handling of the original Trump–Russia probe at the FBI, known inside the bureau as “Crossfire Hurricane.”
As the old infomercial used to say, “But wait! There’s more!”
Fox News Digital also exclusively reported that former CIA Director John Brennan is under criminal investigation related to the Trump–Russia probe.

It looks like Pam Bondi will still have a job on Wednesday. Who knows? Perhaps she’s finally figuring out what her job actually is, and it’s not standing in front of cameras and making a fool of herself.
