Good day all. For years, there have been stories that the DoJ had infiltrated a number of federal agents into the crowd at the Capitol building for the January 6th 2021 protest. There were claims that some were actually pushing things along instead of trying to tamp things down.
Of course, the DoJ under Merrick Garland and the FBI under Christopher Wray denied that this had ever happened. Of course, they also never expected that President Trump would beat all the lawfare attempts back and win reelection in 2024. Now he has people in place who have been digging through all the records and it looks like they have found things. Here are the details from Just The News:
The FBI secretly deployed more than 250 plainclothes agents to the U.S. Capitol during the Jan. 6, 2021 riot, an operation so disorganized it unleashed searing frustrations among many of the FBI’s rank-and-file that the bureau had lost its core competencies to “wokeness” and allowed its employees to become “pawns in a political war,” according to an after-action report kept from the public for more than four years.
Scores of FBI agents and personnel – many from the bureau’s premier Washington field office (WFO) – sent anonymous complaints to the after-action team detailing how agents were sent into an unsafe scenario without proper safety equipment or the ability to identify themselves readily as armed officers to other police agencies, the report obtained by Just the News shows.
I’m not at all surprised of course. It’s since turned out that FBI Director Wray was almost as corrupt as J. Edna Hoover and a lot less competent. Then we have the whole business where Nancy Pelosi refused President Trump’s offer of National Guard troops for added security and all the other things that the Left and Legacy Media, Fake News Division, claimed never happened and were nothing but conspiracy theories.
Now Director Kash Patel, under who’s guidance this information was released, has clarified a few details. It appears that these agents were sent to the site after things got started. Here are those details from Fox News:
The FBI responded on Saturday to a report that 274 plainclothes agents were at the U.S. Capitol riot on Jan. 6, 2021, clarifying the role of bureau personnel while still blasting former Director Christopher Wray.
While the agents were on hand, they were sent in after the riot had begun to try to control the unruly crowd, officials told Fox News Digital. That is not the proper role of FBI agents, and Wray was not forthcoming about what happened when he testified numerous times on Capitol Hill, Director Kash Patel said.
“Agents were sent into a crowd control mission after the riot was declared by Metro Police – something that goes against FBI standards,” Patel told Fox News Digital. “This was the failure of a corrupt leadership that lied to Congress and to the American people about what really happened.”
The issue here is that the Federal Bureau of Investigation is not set up or trained to do crowd and riot control. The FBI doesn’t even have a standard uniform that people would recognize. Sending in all these agents to do something they weren’t trained for or prepared for angered quite a few of them.
He added, “Thanks to agents coming forward, we are now uncovering the truth. We are fully committed to transparency, and justice and accountability continues with this FBI.”

Kash Patel and Dan Bongino are in the process of cleaning house at the FBI. In most cases, it’s going to be senior agents and management that is going to get whacked. That doesn’t mean that some rank and file agents won’t be shown the door. A number are already being given their walking papers.
There’s no indication any FBI agents were involved in any events related to Trump’s speech on the morning of Jan. 6 at the Ellipse, an FBI official told Fox News Digital, adding that Wray should have disclosed that agents were there when he was asked by congressional leaders.
I do tend to agree that the agents who were sent in after the “Festivities” began were not involved in any “False Flag” operations. I do think that there were a few working behind the scenes with “Confidential Informants” who may have been doing things they shouldn’t have. As for former FBI directory Christopher Wray? He needs to spend a few of his retirement years in prison.
Wray told a House Committee on Nov. 15, 2023, “If you are asking if the violence at the Capitol was part of some operation orchestrated by FBI sources or agents, the answer is no,” but he wouldn’t disclose if any agents or sources were embedded within the crowd.
The 274 agents also includes those who were responding to the pipe bombs placed near the Democratic National Committee and Republican National Committee headquarters the night before Jan. 6, according to Politico.
And that is another kettle of fish. They still don’t know who put those devices in place, and there is some question on whether or not they were even real. I hope that is also on Director Patel’s radar to look into.
A report released last December by Justice Department Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz said: “We found no evidence in the materials we reviewed or the testimony we received showing or suggesting that the FBI had undercover employees in the various protest crowds, or at the Capitol, on January 6,” although he acknowledged there were 26 paid informants, but only three of them were assigned by the FBI to be there.
You will excuse me if I don’t believe this. I won’t additional sources of information with no connections to the Federal Government under Joe Biden’s handlers.
The report also said that FBI personnel were sent to the Capitol at the request of overwhelmed Capitol Police to help with crowd control.
Well, that explains why they were there. How about why Nancy Pelosi and others refused President Trump’s offer days earlier of additional security and National Guard troops?

Horowitz said that none of the informants were allowed to incite the crowd, break the law or enter the U.S. Capitol.

Many of the agents weren’t happy to have been sent to the Capitol to do crowd control, another official told Fox News Digital. It was a chaotic scene with no pre-planning that contradicted the agency’s original plan to not get involved in the event. The official said that agents are not trained to do crowd control.
Good. I’m glad they are upset. Hopefully it means that they’re more interested in catching actual criminals, unlike Comey, Wray and Garland. Those three were more interested in protecting the Democrat Elites and going after President Trump and anyone who supports him.
Wray had testified before Congress prior to the inspector general’s report being released in December, but Patel called out Wray for deflecting and giving a “D.C. answer” when pressed by lawmakers.
“Why it took a ton of time and questioning in Congress for the director to get that point is what I’m trying to eliminate from the FBI,” Patel said. “If Congress asks you a question under oath, whether or not there were sources in [or] around Jan. 6th at the Capitol, you as the director of the FBI need to know that and not deflect and give a D.C. answer. You have to be prepared for that.”
There are exactly two responses that Wray cold have provided. One was what Congress asked for in a clear, concise and complete manner, or “I’m sorry, I don’t have that information at hand. I will get you that information by the close of business tomorrow.”
Instead, we have Director Patel and Assistant Director Bongino literally carrying out physical searches of the Hoover building to find records and files that Wray and his predecessor, Comey actively hid. Currently, James Comey is under indictment for lying to Congress. I wonder what charges, if any could be brought against Christopher Wray? I suspect we will find out eventually.
