Representative Allen West’s One word Response to CAIR

Good day all, It’s the Angry Webmaster here. Recently, Representative Allen West, Representing Florida’s 22^nd district, got into a small disagreement with CAIR. ((Council on American-Islamic Relations))

It seems that CAIR is unhappy with Rep. West’s refusal to cut ties to and repudiate groups and people who don’t agree with CAIR’s agenda. ((Destroying the United States and creating an Islamic Caliphate))

In early August, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) sent a 679-word letter to West urging him to cut ties with “anti-Islamic extremists.. CAIR singled out Bridgette Gabriel, Pamela Geller, Robert Spencer, and Rev. Neil Dozier as Muslim-haters with whom West has shared stages.

Ooh! Robert Spencer!! He is truly evil! NOT!! A few years ago he posted a translation of the Koran and dissected it in a very scholarly manner. I can’t speak to the other mentioned since I’ve never heard of them. I’ll let you do the research.

Anyway, in response to CAIR, Rep. West sent the following reply:

Well that sent all the lefty hearts aflutter! How dare he say that! Of course, most of those idiots don’t understand what Rep. West meant. This was the response to a German demand for surrender to the commanding General of the 101^st Airborne division when they were surrounded and cut off in Bastogne in WWII. When the Nazi’s demanded he surrender his forces and the city, he sent back that one word reply and went down in military history.

One of the confused idiots was Executive Director Nezar Hamze:

Executive director Nezar Hamze tells Riptide he’s befuddled: “Obviously, I was expecting a little more from an elected official. I don’t know if he was calling me nuts or calling my request nuts or what.”

Moron.

An even greater level of stupidity is the so called “Journalist”, Gus Garcia-Roberts who apparently skipped school the day they talked about the Battle of the Bulge, and also managed to miss the movie of the same name.

Michael Z. Williamson, a well known author and destroyer of all that is politically correct waded in on the scholarly remarks of Mr. Garcia-Roberts:

First, this is very clearly (to anyone who made it past 6^th grade) a reference to Gen Anthony McAuliffe’s laconic (oops, is that a Spartan reference?) response to German requests he surrender during the Battle of the Bulge, at Bastogne. I hardly expect any member of the press to either know basic history, nor have the care or intellect to ask someone for clarification. It’s too much like work.  Fortunately, the meaning is obvious to most Americans of normal intellect, and several commentators helpfully explained it.

The reporter’s response? “So you think CAIR are Nazis.”

As I said, expecting useful, accurate information out of the Special Olympics of Writing (newspaper and TV reporting) is asking too much. So I snickered and moved on.
