Good day all. It seems that the Trump administration has fired 8 immigration judges in New York City. These judges were tasked with handling immigration cases in New York. (Duh) There isn’t a lot of information on all this as yet, since this happened on December 1st.
Now you might be thinking “How could President Trump fire a judge? Don’t they have to be impeached? These judges are not appointed by the president and confirmed by the Senate. They are governmental employees answerable to the Attorney General. Apparently, these judges weren’t following the program regarding illegal aliens. Here are the details I have from the Post Millennial:
The Trump administration has fired eight immigration judges in New York in what one judge called “a Monday afternoon massacre.” The move comes as the White House has been battling in courts over their deportation programs.
Now as to the reason why these judges were fired? They weren’t getting with the program. In fact, like all the COB judges, they were doing everything they could to screw up the works.
In case after case, judges have fought to keep illegal immigrants in the country while the administration has sought their removal. Immigration courts come under the purview of the Department of Justice.
It looks like I was correct. These idiots appear to have not gotten the memo that illegals are to be removed, not protected.
There are three immigration courts in New York City. Protesters have been gathering at the courts to prevent deportations and arrests by immigration officials. These agitators have also attempted to block ICE raids, where agents go into an area specifically to arrest illegal immigrant criminals.
It’s basically hitting critical mass in NYC. There have already been several arrests, and these leftist morons have been doing the usual leftist shtick when they aren’t getting what they want. Turning up the leftist escalation dial.
As for the court, it looks like they’re trying to generate sympathy, and they are also trying to equate this with the “Saturday Night Massacre” when then President Nixon fired Special Prosecutor Archibald Cox and a number of others resigned in protest.
“The court has been basically eviscerated. It feels like a Monday afternoon massacre,” said Olivia Cassin, who was terminated from her judicial post in November.
The New York Times reports that 90 immigration judges have already been fired in 2025 out of 600 immigration judges nationally. Both the Department of Justice and the National Association of Immigration Judges confirmed the firings. Already, 36 of the judges fired this year have been replaced with new ones.
I’ve read elsewhere that the Administration is looking to overhaul the entire immigration court system. Part of this is getting rid of those who can’t seem to understand that illegal aliens need to be removed asap and not protected. What the courts are meant to do is deal with those who came here lawfully for any number of reasons and may be having issues with their status. Those who hopped, skipped and jumped over the border are not welcome and have no rights other then a speedy removal out of the United States.
Democrats and leftists have been speaking out against deportations, with six lawmakers going as far as to tell members of the US Armed Forces to disobey illegal orders, which indicated that they believed the troops were receiving unlawful orders. The FBI is investigating those remarks.
The Democrats are digging a whole for themselves and are to stupid to see it. With each one of their stunts, they move one step closer to either triggering a full blown civil war or, preferably, finding themselves on trial for a whole host of criminal activities.
Opposing ICE is the latest protest trend for the far left, which has taken to protesting outside ICE operations centers in Illinois, Oregon, New Jersey, New York, Texas and other locations. Two National Guard troops were shot, one of them fatally, in Washington, DC, while in Texas a protester targeting ICE agents killed two illegal immigrant detainees instead.
The protests outside of the Texas facility aren’t being tolerated by most of the people in Texas. A lot of these “Protesters” are actually from out of state and are paid “Professional” protesters. (Thank you George Soros) The way things are escalating, it’s only a matter of time before things come to a head and the Left learns what FAFO means.
As for the administrative judges, they’re lucky that all that happened was they were fired. I have little doubt that one or more of these people will sue to get their job back and some COB judge issues yet another illegal and unconstitutional order instructing the Trump Administration to put them back on the job. That is something that will not happen. What I think is going to happen is even more of these administrative judges are going to have their records examined and the Libtarded ones will be shown the door.
