Good day all. Now that the massive fraud in Minnesota has landed in the national consciousness, more and more law enforcement resources are now being routed to investigate just how far the crimes have spread. Now the FBI is sending out additional agents to dig into the conspiracy I’m calling the “Somali Affair.

Now that the country has awakened to the massive levels of fraud in Minnesota and elsewhere, the FBI has started re-purposing agents to investigate. Here are the details from Fox News:
FBI Director Kash Patel said the agency has surged additional personnel and investigative resources to Minnesota as part of an ongoing effort to “dismantle large-scale fraud schemes exploiting federal programs.”

Patel said Sunday that the bureau moved resources into the state before recent online attention intensified, pointing to the Feeding Our Future investigation, which uncovered a $250 million scheme that siphoned federal food aid intended for children during the COVID-19 pandemic.
That number is already out of date with the United States Attorney saying that he believes at least half of all the welfare payments have been stolen just in Minnesota alone.
The case has already resulted in 78 indictments and 57 convictions, with prosecutors also charging defendants in a separate plot to bribe a juror with $120,000 in cash, Patel said, adding that the investigation remains ongoing.
“The FBI believes this is just the tip of a very large iceberg. We will continue to follow the money and protect children, and this investigation very much remains ongoing,” he wrote on X. “Furthermore, many are also being referred to immigrations officials for possible further denaturalization and deportation proceedings where eligible.”
I hope the look into Ilhan Omar’s sudden increase in wealth. She went from basically broke to worth over $30 million dollars, putting San Fran Nan’s greed to shame.

Patel’s announcement comes in the wake of a viral video posted on social media Friday by independent journalist Nick Shirley that highlighted alleged fraud involving Minnesota childcare and learning centers. In the video, many of the facilities appeared non-operational despite allegedly receiving millions of dollars in government aid.
I haven’t seen the video, (I really should), but I understand that the first hint that it may be a fraudulent daycare center was the sign on the building. It misspelled “Learning.” I also saw something, but haven’t had a chance to look into it, that Tampon Tim Walz is pushing back on the video and other cases of fraud that’s been discovered on his watch.
A spokesperson for Walz told Fox News Digital: “The Governor has worked for years to crack down on fraud and ask the state legislature for more authority to take aggressive action. He has strengthened oversight – including launching investigations into these specific facilities, one of which was already closed.”
How about arrests? How about recovering the stolen money? Have you done anything other then close down a few sites that were discovered by third parties?

“He has hired an outside firm to audit payments to high-risk programs, shut down the Housing Stabilization Services program entirely, announced a new statewide program integrity director, and supported criminal prosecutions.”
Walz and his cronies were warned by the state staffers that there was a problem, but not only did he ignore them, he retaliated against the people issuing the reports and warnings.
An X account calling itself Minnesota Staff Fraud Reporting Commentary, which says it consists of more than 480 Minnesota state staff members, wrote that Walz is “100% responsible for massive fraud in Minnesota.”
“We let Tim Walz know of fraud early on, hoping for a partnership in stopping fraud but no, we got the opposite response. Tim Walz systematically retaliated against whistleblowers using monitoring, threats, repression, and did his best to discredit fraud reports,” the group claimed. “In addition to retaliating against whistleblower[s], Tim Walz disempowered the Office of the Legislative Auditor, allowing agencies to disregard their audit findings and guidance.”

Walz is doubling down on blaming everyone else and claiming that he is “going to fix things.” No one really believes him other then the ultra die hard hard left Liberals. (So basically most of the Democrat party). While I am not happy that it took almost a year for Director Patel to send in agents, I do understand the delay. He’s been busy cleaning up the mess that is the FBI.
Now the question is, how high up does this fraud and corruption go? I don’t think that Walz was personally enriched by the criminal activities, but he and the other local Democrats did benefit politically. The fact that he not only turned a blind eye to all this, but actively shut down any investigations makes him, as far as I’m concerned, criminally liable. Now we have to wait and see what happens next.
