Good day all. Minnesota is a state that seems to be collapsing before our very eyes. The state has been run, or mismanaged by the Democratic-Farmers-Labor party, the local name for the Democrat party, for decades. In the last month we have discovered billions of dollars in fraud.
We have also been seeing how the State has been actively aiding in the fraud. Beyond that, ICE has come in and started rounding up illegal aliens that had been protected by the State. When this started, the Libtarded Progressives decided that interfering with federal agents was a great idea. Sadly, one of these AWFUL idiots got herself killed when she tried running down a federal agent.
When that happened, the Democrats, decided that this was what they needed to both stop ICE and the criminal investigations into all the fraud. The state Attorney General came up with a “Brilliant Idea.” He is trying to get the courts to stop the federal government from enforcing federal law. Here are the details from NBC News:
Officials in Minnesota are suing the federal government to stop the deployment of thousands of immigration agents to Minnesota, the state’s top prosecutor said Monday.
“We allege that the obvious targeting of Minnesota for our diversity, for our democracy and our differences of opinion with the federal government is a violation of the Constitution and of federal law,” Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison said at a news conference.
The lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court in Minnesota, includes the cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul as plaintiffs and names officials with the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement and U.S. Customs and Border Protection as defendants.
Ellison is an idiot. The Federal Agents are enforcing federal law. What he is basically demanding the court, a federal court, to do is prevent the agents from arresting illegal aliens and, I suspect, continue investigating and prosecuting criminals, most of whom are Somali, who have been robbing the taxpayers blind. Of course, the lawsuit doesn’t actually mention what part of the constitution is being violated.
The complaint was filed one day after Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said hundreds more federal officers are heading to the state amid protests over the killing of Renee Nicole Good by an ICE officer. Noem said the federal operation in the state is now focused not just on targeting alleged violations of immigration law but also on tackling ICE-related protests.
There have been a number of attacks on ICE and other federal agents in Democrat controlled cities and states. Federal agents have been attacked with cars, and shot at by these “Protesters.” The Trump Administration is now following the money to see who is paying these professional agitators.
As mentioned before, one of these morons, a typical Angry White Female Urban Liberal, or AWFUL, was blocking ICE vehicles with her SUV. She refused to move and when told to get out of the car, refused. When an agent started pulling on the door, she gunned the engine and struck another agent who was in front of the SUV. (It appears he may have been moving towards the agent pulling on the door while filming with his cellphone) It was at this point the agent fired into the car, hitting and killing the driver.
Noem has described Good, a prize-winning poet, as a terrorist who “weaponized” her vehicle against the ICE officer who fatally shot her in self-defense. Local and state officials have disputed that claim, saying Good, 37, was only trying to leave the scene and calling federal officials’ characterization “propaganda.”
Prize winning poet? Well, now she’s a member of the Dead Poets Society. (To soon?) In any case, she was looking right at the agent in front of her car when she stepped on the gas. She knew he was there. On the fact that her wheels were spinning on ice is why the agent didn’t’ go under the vehicle. Also, since the “Local and State officials” don’t seem to either know or actually care about the laws, fleeing, even if she didn’t hit anyone, is a criminal offense, and I believe a federal felony in this case. (Added to the interference charges as well)
The NBC story is, of course, written from the prospective of the average Legacy Media. It’s pretty much propaganda for the Democrats. Still, if you look carefully, you will find a few nuggets of information that slipped past their internal unfact checkers.
It also looks like that all the Blue states might be trying to play this game. Monday, January 12th, Illinois also filed suit to stop the Federal Government from enforcing Federal Laws. Here are these details from the Gateway Pundit:
After last week’s deadly ICE self-defense shooting in Minneapolis, Minnesota’s top Democrat officials took the extraordinary step of suing the federal government for enforcing immigration law. Now, Illinois has followed suit.
Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul announced Monday that his office has filed a lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security, along with Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Customs and Border Protection, accusing federal agents of “dangerous” and “unlawful” enforcement actions in Illinois.
The Gateway Pundit quoted this Leftist POS. I read it and the level of delusion makes me think he needs to be committed to a mental hospital for the insanely stupid.
This is the same guy who turns a blind eye to Chicago’s skyrocketing murder rates, where gangbangers shoot up neighborhoods daily, but suddenly he’s outraged when federal heroes step in to deport criminals?
Of course he is. How dare the Trump Administration do things like keep a campaign promise, (Deport illegal aliens), and protect innocent Americans? Why, don’t that know that it’s considered bad form to interrupt criminals when they are murdering innocent men, women and children?
Raoul claims he swore to uphold the U.S. and Illinois Constitutions but apparently, that oath doesn’t include respecting federal supremacy on immigration when it suits his radical agenda.
These are Democrats. The Constitution is a dead letter to them. Now it’s going to be interesting how a federal judge will rule. If these clowns judge shop for a COB judge, (Clinton, Obama, Biden), they have a fair chance of getting their TRO. (Temporary Restraining Order) If that were to happen, I think a number of things could happen.
First would be the instant appeal to SCOTUS. Second, and this is where things get a little scary, the Administration tells the judge that they have crossed a line and that their order will not be followed. If that were to happen, you would see all the Democrats screaming “Impeach TRUMP!!” That won’t happen of course, but there would be a bit of a constitutional crisis.
Another possibility, tied in with the last one is that President Trump, in consultations with the DoJ and congress, declares that the states of Illinois and Minnesota as being in rebellion against the Federal Government, The Constitution and then activates the Insurrection Act and send in the military. That will end up with most of the elected and a fair number of appointed officials removed from office with a few placed under arrest.
We have been seeing thing building towards “Something really bad happening” for almost 20 years. The Democrats have always been authoritarian, and more recently totalitarian in their actions. It started, or became noticeable, under Obama. Then we had Felonia von Pantsuit who was basically the heir apparent for Obama. (He had the goods on her and knew she could be counted on to protect and enrich herself and follow orders.
However, that plan was derailed when Donald Trump defeated her. The Deep State and the Democrats, not that there is any difference, realized that there was someone in office who they couldn’t control so they set about destroying him and rigging the 2020 election. (Yes, I know, conspiracy theory) With the installation of the worst president in American history, Dementia Joe Biden, things went into the crapper fast and pretty much stayed there.
Now President Trump is back and he is not playing around this time. (Not that he was playing around the last time) He has four years, (Three now), to clean up the mess made by the Biden Maladministration. One of those things is getting rid of the millions of illegal aliens that that the maladministration and the Democrats let into the country.
In his last term, President Trump was dealing with the Deep State and Democrats attempts to force him from office. Now he’s dealing with corrupt COB judges who are usurping powers they don’t have and Democrat governors actively aiding and abetting illegal immigration. With each idiot threat and lawsuit by these communist idiots, (Almost all struck down by SCOTUS), President Trump is moving closer to a decision h doesn’t want to make. However, if push comes to shove, he will make it and it won’t end well for these Soros AG’s.
