Jack Smith coordinated with two judges?

Good day all. Each day seems to provide more evidence that the Biden maladministration, the Garland DoJ and Jack Smith were actively using the federal government to go after President Trump, his allies and just average people they perceived to be their enemies or enemies of the Democrat party.

This has caused the term “Lawfare” to enter into the American lexicon. Jack Smith was put in place to go after President Trump, his advisors and anyone else who the Democrats thought should be jailed for not toeing Democrat line. Now there is no way that Smith could have done all the damage he did unless he had someone in the judicial branch who was on board with the conducting lawfare. Now it appears there were. Here are the details from Fox News:

Conservative critics are accusing former special counsel Jack Smith of improperly coordinating with two federal judges after Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, released documents Tuesday showing Smith’s team interacted with the pair during the Trump investigations.

I’m shocked that Smith violated procedures and the law. Of course, he was never legally appointed to the position, so why would anything else matter in his quest to get Trump and anyone else deemed an “Enemy of the Party.”

“Democrat DC U.S. district judges illegally worked in secret with Biden Special Counsel Jack Smith to bring charges against President Trump,” Article III Project founder Mike Davis claimed on X as details of the documents emerged on Tuesday.

The documents released by Grassley included notes about a briefing Smith’s team gave Attorney General Merrick Garland on Jan. 13, 2023, just after Garland appointed Smith as special counsel. The notes referenced meetings with Judges Beryl Howell and James Boasberg of Washington, D.C., both Obama appointees and Trump nemeses known for their high-profile adverse rulings against the president.

Well, well, well. I think we have not just impeachable offenses, but grounds for actual criminal charges. Now if we can get Pam Bondi to pull her personal massager out and do her damn job, we might see the first judges cuffed and frog marched off to jail.

“She liked our approach of pursuing the executive privilege litigation in an omnibus fashion,” Smith’s team wrote in reference to Howell, according to the documents. Omnibus motions allow for consolidated, rather than piecemeal, litigation and are typically used by lawyers to streamline court filings. Smith’s team frequently sought permission from the court to pierce executive privilege, a presumptive right that a president and his aides have that gives their communications a layer of legal privacy.

There was only one way Smith could have even considered that he could do all the things he tried to do. He had to have a judge or two in his pocket and now we know who they were.

The briefing notes also referenced a forthcoming meeting with Boasberg on March 18, 2023, the day after he was set to become chief judge, succeeding Howell. The White House responded in a statement to Fox News Digital.

“We have long known that Judge Boasberg is a far-left judicial activist trying to undermine the President’s lawful authority, this is just further proof,” White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson said. “President Trump has restored integrity to the Department of Justice that Joe Biden and his administration weaponized to target their political opponents – including President Trump himself.”

What the White House didn’t say, but was implied, was that both Boasberg and Howell were willing participants in the massive civil rights violations perpetrated against President Trump, those close to him and who knows how many others.

A Republican congressional investigator told Fox News Digital the meetings with the judges merited further scrutiny.

The Fox story goes into how Smith wrote briefing notes to Garland on his plan to subvert presidential privilege and that Howell was on board with the idea of combining all the cases into one.

The briefing notes also mentioned recent meetings between the special counsel’s team and top FBI officials. The FBI “has been very responsive,” Smith’s team wrote. The team mentioned “precedent-setting issues we face in areas of executive privilege [and] Speech or Debate,” a possible reference to Smith testing the separation of powers by seeking the potentially privileged material from those in Trump’s orbit.

Reading this paragraph, I’m beginning to think that part of this plan was to have the judicial branch usurp power and authority from the Executive branch. Considering the rulings of the COB judges over the last year, it does seem that they are trying to do just that. Of course, that may just be my paranoid, conspiracy theorist brain going into overdrive.

Independent journalist Julie Kelly, an outspoken critic of the Biden DOJ, observed on X that Smith’s team interacted with the judges. Kelly suggested the judges were “in cahoots with Biden DOJ to rubber stamp, even advise, any strategy set forth by Jack Smith.”

Or maybe I’m late to the conspiracy party?

Attorney Bill Shipley, a longtime federal prosecutor who represented dozens of Jan. 6 defendants, wrote on X that he did not find much about the memo “noteworthy,” saying it was “clearly” designed to bring Garland up to speed following the holidays and Smith’s new appointment.

That was obvious. Garland illegally appointed Smith and needed to know what Smith was doing in order to provide cover for him.

Shipley also noted how Howell and Boasberg were chief judges, meaning any grand jury matters were required to go through their offices.

I think you might be missing the point. There is a difference between a judge presiding over cases and actually working with Smith and the DoJ to get the rulings that Smith wanted.

“What troubles me in the text of the memo is the suggestion — which was borne out by events that followed — that Judge Howell desired to resolve all the issues involving witness privilege before she stepped down as Chief Judge,” Shipley wrote, though he noted that her decisions were appealable.

Mr. Shipley is an officer of the court, so he has to be a bit circumspect when talking about judges. I, on the other hand, am not a lawyer or an officer of the court so I can say what I think. Boasberg and Howell are, in my unschooled opinion, crooked as the day is long. Many of Boasberg’s anti-Trump rulings, besides being dead wrong and being overturned on appeal, have also threatened the very safety of the United States and the American people.

I think we are in the middle of an actual constitutional crises. We have members of the Judicial branch actively working to subvert the separation of powers and usurp authority they do not have. I think that the time has come for an actual criminal investigation, not of just Beryl Howell and James Boasberg, but of all the Clinton, Obama and Biden judges, along with a few so called Republican judges. I would love to know if they are talking with each other.

Far to many of these judges have been slapped down by the appellate courts and/or the Supreme Court and for many of the same reasons. We even have some that are flat out ignoring the Supreme Court. If these people are colluding in some manner, then we might just have an actual seditious conspiracy.

I also think that we have also reached the point where some of these judges have to be told No when they issue one of their blatantly unlawful rulings. If the American people can’t trust the neutrality and impartiality of the Judicial Branch, then the entire house of cards collapses.
