Well, that was a big pile of nothing

And boy are the politicians pissed! Yes, Hurricane Irene, a rather large category 1 hurricane blew in, dumped a lot of rain, knocked down some power lines, and then left.

Now there was some flooding in low lying areas, and there was some wind damage as well. I have a limb down in my back yard that has trashed a section of fence. Other than that, not much else has happened here.

Some of the people who are bitterly disappointed are:

President Barack Obama. He was so looking forward to generating more hot air and pretending he was actually doing something useful.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg. He was so looking forward to strutting around in his jackboots and ordering people around.

Governor Chris Christy. He was hoping the storm would wash all the unions and politicians opposing him right out to sea.

The Mainly Stupid Media. That would be CNN, MSNBC ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX not to mention all the newspapers. They were all so looking forward to a complete and utter disaster. They did all they could to pump more hot air into Hurricane Irene, but even those blowhards just couldn’t generate the wind needed.

And last, and most certainly least, Al Gore and his Church of Global Warming Climate Change. Of all the idiots looking forward to this storm, Al Gore and his moronic minions were out in force hoping for massive damages and huge loss of life. Al Gore has been running his little con game for almost 15 years, and enriching himself and his friends in the process.

He has gone so far around the bend, that someone needs to throw a net over him and hall him off to the funny farm. His latest pronouncements are a true laugh riot. Now he is saying that anyone who disagrees with Global Warming will be considered just the same as racists.

From the Daily Caller:

One day climate change skeptics will be seen in the same negative light as racists, at least so says former Vice President Al Gore.

Yeah, right Al. Say, are you still flying around on those private jets? You know, the ones that burn thousands of dollars in fuel for every hour they’re airborne? And how about those houses of yours? You know, the ones that burn more power in a month than 12 normal homes do in a year?

Well enough about that idiot, lets look at another idiot. Governor Chris Christy.

“Excuse me?” You ask? “We all thought you would support him?”

While I’m glad Christy is governor of New Jersey he has drunk deeply at the Global Warming-Kool Aid fountain. He, like most of the Kool-Aid drinkers, won’t look at the actual science, you know, the science that WASN’T fraudulent and reconsider his thinking. In any case, Governor Christy is saying that:

“I’ve got to imagine that the damage estimates are going to be in the billions of dollars, if not in the tens of billions of dollars,” Christie said in an interview with NBC’s “Meet the Press” program.

Well, It appears that the worst disaster to hit the Jersey Shore remains Jersey Shore. 😉

Then there is good old Oberstgruppenführer Gauleiter Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

This petty little tyrant was overjoyed that a hurricane was heading to New York City. It gave him the chance to really crack down on those dirty little people who need to be constantly told how to live their lives.

Bloomberg ordered more than 300,000 people to evacuate low lying areas in NYC in advance of the storm. Now recommending an evacuation makes sense, but the Napoleon of New York doesn’t believe in advising people when he can issue orders and then threaten people if they don’t obey.

Well, most people didn’t. Basically they told Bloomberg to shove it up his A**.

To be honest, most people understood that it would take more than a category 1 storm, especially one that was going to weaken, to do any real damage to New York city. Now a high level category 2 or better, yeah I think you would have seen people leaving the area. A storm that large or bigger could have sent a storm surge into the city and flooded out the subway tunnels. That would have been bad. Obviously, it didn’t happen.

And finally, this brings us to our old friend, the Light Giver, the One, the complete and utterly incompetent President Barack Obama. As usual, he showed himself to be utterly irrelevant to the situation. He tried to make himself look competent by “taking charge of the Hurricane Command Center,” with the standard results of no one noticing.

According to Gallup, Obama’s ratings are so low that we’re going to need sonar and ground penetrating radar to find them. 😉

Well, we hope you didn’t suffer any damage either. Me, I’m going out to chop up that tree limb. :p

That’s all folks!
