Somali fraudster let out by judge skips bail and flees the country

Good day all. As the investigations into the massive fraud committed in Minnesota continues, more and more arrests are occurring. Even the Minnesota state authorities, trying to look less culpable in this debacle, are starting to arrest the fraudsters.

However, there is a problem. The incompetent and politically motivated judges. Once again, an idiot wearing black robes has let a criminal out. This time all he did was take his stolen money and flee the country. Here are the details from Fox News:

A man accused of orchestrating an $11 million Medicaid fraud scheme in Minnesota skipped a scheduled court appearance this week, prompting a warrant for his arrest, authorities said. Abdirashid Ismail Said, 50, failed to appear for a pretrial hearing in Hennepin County, forfeiting his bond, according FOX 9, citing the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office.

Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison said in a statement that his office is working with federal authorities to locate Said.

“A warrant has been issued for Said’s arrest after he failed to appear for a pretrial hearing,” Ellison told the outlet. “My Medicaid Fraud Control Unit is working with federal law enforcement to locate Said and ensure he faces justice for the fraud he committed.

I have little doubt that this piece of human debris has fled the country and is either on his way to, or in Somalia. As for Ellison’s Medicare Fraud Control Unit? Where have they been for the last 8 years? Out to a long lunch? I think Ellison is getting worried about his own liability.

Currently, Ellison is up for reelection and is running for a third term. As to his winning? Who can say? Even if he does, there is the potential that he might end up facing federal charges of the mess that Minnesota is in. It’s beginning to look like he might have been bought off and that is why the worst fraud in history happened. Of course, that is all just rumor and appearances.

Said posted a $150,000 unconditional bond to avoid stricter conditions, including surrendering his passport, while a $50,000 conditional bond would have required it, according to FOX 9. Investigators also raised concerns about Said’s potential to flee, citing family ties abroad, according to FOX 9.

Excuse me? He wasn’t required to give up his passport? What idiot of a judge didn’t require that condition, and why, considering the amount of fraud he committed and that they don’t appear to have recovered the money, wasn’t he wearing a tracker? Considering his past convictions, it’s beginning to look like the fix was in.

Court records show Said was convicted of Medicaid fraud in 2022, ordered to pay $77,000 and barred from working with any Medicaid-funded agency, a restriction prosecutors allege he later violated.

The case has raised new concerns about oversight of taxpayer-funded programs, as state leaders, including Gov. Tim Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison, have faced mounting criticism over their handling of fraud in Minnesota.

Oversight? What oversight? There were any number of reports of major problems sent to Govno Walz’s office and to the Attorney General’s office. Not only were they ignored, people filing them were the ones who were punished. This is what the DoJ is starting to look into and why Walz and Ellison are beginning to shit bricks.

Former acting U.S. Attorney Joe Thompson has suggested fraud across some programs could total billions of dollars, potentially reaching $9 billion.

That’s just in Minnesota. It doesn’t take into account the fraud now being uncovered in Kalifornistan and other states. (Mostly Democrat run, but there has been some in Republican states as well)

State officials have faced ongoing questions about oversight of taxpayer-funded programs, with critics pointing to additional fraud cases involving Medicaid and welfare spending.

This has been a low level, ongoing issue for years. The Democrats, who appear to have politically benefited from the fraud, were able to keep most of this out of the Legacy media. Then came Nick Shirley

Nick Shirley did some citizen investigation into all the Somali daycare centers and found that almost all of them were nothing more than fronts to steal money. One of the centers was so bad, that the sign announcing it’s presence became a meme. (The infamous Learing Center with learning misspelled) That report exploded on YouTube and blew the lid off what amounted to a media cover-up of the entire mess. After that, things began to snowball as the DoJ started sending in resources.

It’s also when Ellison figured out he might be in trouble if he didn’t look like he was actually doing his job. This clown, Abdirashid Ismail Said was the result, and instead of keeping him secured, they let him get away with my tax money. Without question, he will turn up somewhere, probably in Somalia. In my opinion, they should issue a reward for his capture and handing over to the nearest U.S. embassy. $100K dead, or $500 alive. If the latter, we just need his head. No disintegrations.
