Good day all. Well the bell has tolled for one Eric Scumwell. He has thrown in the towel. Has reeled in his line. Has pulled down the blinds and turned out the lights. Scumwell has announced he is resigning from his seat in the House of Representatives.
Scumwell’s collapse began last week when a number of women came forward and Harvey Weinsteined him. His run for Governor collapsed over the weekend and today, (April 13th), Eric Scumwell announced his resignation from Congress. Here are the details from Fox News:
Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., announced he would resign his congressional seat on Monday on the heels of multiple bombshell reports last Friday that forced him to drop out of a bid to become the next governor of California.
“I am deeply sorry to my family, staff, and constituents for mistakes in judgment I’ve made in my past,” Swalwell said in a statement. “I will fight the serious, false allegation made against me. However, I must take responsibility and ownership for the mistakes I did make.”
So he admits he did what they accused him of but he intends to fight these “False” allegations. Yeah, right, and OJ Simpson never stopped looking for his ex-wife’s murderer.
“I am aware of efforts to bring an immediate expulsion vote against me and other members. Expelling anyone in Congress without due process, within days of an allegation being made, is wrong,” he continued. “But it’s also wrong for my constituents to have me distracted from my duties. Therefore, I plan to resign my seat in Congress.”
Scumwell has been a problem his entire political career. When it broke that he had been shagging a Chinese spy, instead of pulling back, he doubled down. When the FBI reported to Congress that he was a security risk, the Democrats put him on the Intelligence committee.
Scumwell has also been militant in revoking the 2nd Amendment, up to and including outright threatening to use nuclear weapons on gun owners if they didn’t fall into line and surrender their property.
He also was one of the big boosters of the fake Russia dossier paid for by Felonia von Pantsuit to try and force President Trump from office. He was also doing whatever he could to railroad him and anyone who supported President Trump into prison.
Now the end has arrived for Eric Scumwell. I don’t know when his resignation takes effect, but the sooner the better in my opinion. He is a classic narcissist and probably a sociopathic personality. Fox News asks if Scumwell’s resignation marks the end of his political career. I think it does. That arrogant scumbag may be looking at criminal prosecution for some of his actions. I think that, along with I assume will be the collapse of his marriage, is a fitting end to another holier than thou Progressive Liberal Kalifornistan Democrat.
