Good day all. Recently, thanks to the Supreme Court finally correcting a major error, states began redistricting to get rid of the racially gerrymandered congressional districts. One of these districts was in Tennessee, and when the vote was taken, all the Libtard losers in the Tennessee legislature went off the deep end screaming racism.
There was just on problem. The district was “Represented” by an old white guy, not someone who was black. In fact in the 2024 election a black Republican woman ran against the current office holder and lost. This is blowing a major hole in the whole “Republicans are racist!” nonsense. Now the district has been changed and it looks like the Republicans, possibly the nice lady who ran last time, will pick up the seat. This has led the current office holder to announce he won’t be seeking reelection. Here are the details from Just the News:
Rep. Steve Cohen, D-Tenn., on Friday announced he would end his reelection bid after Republicans in the state redrew his Memphis-centered district.
State lawmakers redrew their congressional maps in the wake of the Supreme Court’s ruling in Louisiana v. Callais that narrowed Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act and barred race-based congressional districts.
The original district was set up as a “Black” district. Since the only person who won was a white liberal Democrat, and it was not possible for any Republican to win, it was obviously designed to be a Democrat district. I saw something earlier, (Sorry, I didn’t make note of it), that shows that a large percentage of the current Democrat districts were set up by court order and all were nothing more than a means for the Democrats to increase their power.
If this is accurate, then there will be other court challenges to force redistricting, removing the racial component in the district lines. That will make it a lot harder for the Democrats to gerrymander districts to protect their house seats. They will try of course, but they are going to lose a lot of their current seats in the House of Representatives. Because of this, Cohen is giving up.
Cohen cited the changes to his district boundaries in making the decision, Fox News reported.

So, instead of going down fighting, he’s going to bravely run away and not suffer the ignominy of a crushing defeat. Works for me!
The Louisiana ruling led to redraws across the South, including in that state, Tennessee, and Florida. Alabama and South Carolina are expected to advance altered maps in time for 2026.
Sadly, there won’t be time to challenge all the other racially gerrymandered districts before the 2026 midterms. However, a lot of these are going to be looked at prior to the 2028 election. Then there is the 2030 census.
There are reports that the 2020 census was cooked by the Democrats and the Biden Maladministration to make it look like the Democrat controlled states weren’t losing population to the Republican controlled states. From what I’ve seen, New York, Illinois and Kalifornistan should have lost one to two seats each and that Texas and Florida should have picked up more. If the 2030 census is honest, the Democrats will probably be hammered.
