Good day all. I’ve been thinking about this for a while and it looks like others have as well. We have a number of members of Congress and a few judges who are naturalized American citizens. In the past, such people were seen as absolute die hard pro-Americans. However, we’ve been seeing a change in that outlook.
Of late, a lot of naturalized Americans seem to have forgotten their oath of citizenship. It’s very simple. When you are sworn in as a new American, you repeat these words.
“I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty, of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law; and that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God.”
I always enjoy seeing pictures and videos of people taking this oath and the look of seriousness as they take the oath and the look of absolute joy when they are welcomed as the newest American citizens. Sadly, we have a few that are literally putting other countries, the ones they are from, ahead of the United States.
Such people are Ilhan Omar, Pramila Jayapal, James A. Himes and others. According to Grok, something like 26-28 current members of Congress are Naturalized citizens. An overwhelming majority are also Democrats. I also tried to find out how many federal judges are naturalized citizens, but there is no real list.
A few names that Grok generated will be very familiar to people. We have Tanya S. Chutkan (Jamaica), Amit P. Mehta (India), Ana Cecilia Reyes (Uruguay), Amir H. Ali (Canada). If these names are familiar to you, it’s due to their consistent rulings against President Trump and having those rulings overturned by the Supreme court.
Because of these people and their antipathy the nation that took them in, Representative Nancy Mace is putting forward legislation to amend the constitution to allow only those who are native born Americans to hold elective and appointed office. Here are the details from the New York Post:
Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) unveiled legislation Wednesday aiming to ban foreign-born US citizens from serving in Congress and other high levels of the federal government.
The South Carolina congresswoman singled out Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), Shri Thanedar (D-Ill.) and Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.) in announcing her joint resolution to add an amendment to the US Constitution that would prohibit naturalized US citizens from becoming federal judges, holding Senate-confirmed positions or serving in the House or Senate.
“All born in foreign countries, none were citizens by birth. All sitting in the United States Congress. All making clear every single day their loyalty is not to America,” Mace said of the trio of Democratic reps.
Twenty-six House members, including 19 Democrats and seven Republicans, were born outside of the US. In the upper chamber, six senators – four Democrats and two Republicans – were born outside the US.
As I said before, I’m of two minds regarding this idea. Part of me is all for it considering the trash in congress such as Ilhan Omar and Shri Thanedar. On the other hand, there are immigrants who have totally embraced America and our way of life. One of these people is Lily Tang Williams. She is currently running for congress in the state of New Hampshire. She was born in China, came to the United States in her 20’s, worked hard and became a naturalized citizen. She is also for the best mic drop ever on that communist wimp, David Hogg a few years ago.
Mace noted the proposed amendment would impose the “very same standard the President and Vice President are already required to meet” on lawmakers and top government officials.
“The people writing America’s laws, confirming America’s judges, and representing America on the world stage should have one loyalty: America. Not any other country,” she argued.
Again, I am a bit squeamish on doing this for congress, but for judges? Not at all. I also think judges should be limited in their terms and we need a way besides impeachment to remove the really bad ones from the bench that avoids as much as possible political retribution.
“For too long we have allowed foreign born members to hold seats in this government while making clear they are America last, not America first,” Mace added. “We see it every day.
“This constitutional amendment will put an end to it.”
And that is the way to do it. However, getting a constitutional amendment through congress, especially with the Democrats, unless it’s designed to suppress individual rights, isn’t going to happen.
Mace’s resolution faces long odds of becoming law, as it must pass both chambers of Congress by a two-thirds vote and be ratified by three-fourths of state legislatures.

Needless to say, some of the loudmouth targets of this amendment had to sound off and went right to their favorite screech, RACIST!!!
Jayapal, who was born in India and became a US citizen in 2000, slammed the proposal as “narrow-minded” and “xenophobic.”
“Instead of working to help the American people, as so many cannot keep the lights on, keep food on the table, or pay their rent, Nancy Mace is instead introducing racist legislation that denies the very history of a country that has been proudly shaped by immigrants,” she said in a statement. “This is also insulting to the hundreds of thousands of constituents who elected naturalized citizens into office.”
“With the exception of Native Americans, every person in this country – including Nancy Mace – is descended from immigrants,” Jayapal continued. “And America is made stronger by the people from across the world with diverse talents who come here to live and work.”
Jayapal is known for not following her oath of citizenship or her oath of office. She has actively supported the invasion of the United States by criminal aliens, has supported regimes hostile to the United States and actively pushed to suppress the constitutional rights of groups of American citizens because they will not bow to what she, and most of the Democrats are pushing. Basically, she’s not helping herself with her antics.
Thanedar, who was also born in India and became a US citizen in 1988, mocked Mace’s announcement in a social media post accusing the congresswoman of having a “drinking problem” and forcing her staff to vote her the “hottest” member of Congress.
“I’m introducing a resolution to ban congressmembers who make their staff vote for them as the ‘Hottest’ Woman in Congress from holding office,” Thanedar wrote on X.
“Get your drinking problem fixed before coming for those of us who worked hard to come here and contribute,” he added.
That communist with the world’s worst toupee, (I hope it’s a toupee and not his actual hair), is in his first term and is best know for his threats towards Republicans and President Trump. None of them should be in congress, and considering their apparent hatred for everything that made America the greatest country on earth, should consider moving someplace that better reflects their views.

Now the odds of this Amendment even making it out of committee are close to zero. Even if it did, it won’t get the needed minimums to be sent out to the states. There is also the issue of those immigrants who become citizens and become some of the best Americans out there.

Still, we do need to talk about this. Generally, those who come here as children, provided they avoid contamination by the Progressive Libtarded teachers, are 100% American in their thinking and outlook. We definitely need to do something about all these judges who seem to be more interested in imposing foreign law or making things up than following American law and the Constitution. So, what do you think? Do you agree with the idea of keeping non-native born Americans from elected and appointed federal office?
