Good day all. We’ve all seen just how corrupt Jack Smith and the Garland DoJ was regarding the railroading of President Trump. When everything was shut down thanks to the American voters, Smith tried to release a bogus report. That was shut down by a judge and the report sealed.

However, it seems that one of the members of Jack Smith’s team decided that the rules don’t apply to her when it comes to getting Trump. She has been arrested for steal the sealed report. Here are the details from Fox News:
A former Justice Department prosecutor was charged Wednesday with allegedly emailing confidential records tied to former special counsel Jack Smith’s investigation into President Donald Trump.
Carmen Mercedes Lineberger, 62, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, faces four criminal charges stemming from her handling of Smith’s final report: one felony count of obstruction of justice, one felony count of concealing government records and two misdemeanor counts of theft of government property valued at less than $1,000.

According to the indictment filed in the Southern District of Florida, Lineberger allegedly altered electronic file names of government records to conceal unauthorized transmissions of the documents to her personal email accounts.
At the time, she was serving as the Managing Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Fort Pierce branch of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida.
Yeah, I think the term for this person, besides Biden voter, is, moron. Files such as that joke of a report are on secured networks and they are audited. Every time the file is accessed is logged. Making a copy and saving it under a different file name? Yep, logged. Email going out from a government computer? Logged. (That was one reason for Felonia von Pantsuit setting up her bathroom mail server) I suspect someone was auditing the logs and saw something suspicious and started investigating.
FBI Director Kash Patel announced the charges in a post on X.
“This afternoon, a former managing assistant U.S. Attorney who supported Jack Smith’s politicized investigation of President Trump has been charged with stealing the confidential investigation documents,” Patel wrote. “Carmen Lineberger allegedly emailed the confidential material to her own personal email, disguising them as dessert recipes to conceal them from record searches.”
I wonder if this idiot tried using a thumb drive first? These are plugged into USB ports and generally those are the first thing that IT departments lock down. You have to have permission to plug a drive in or they simply won’t work. Oh yes, those attempts are also logged.
Smith previously brought indictments against Trump alleging he illegally attempted to overturn the 2020 election and improperly retained classified national defense information.
Which was a load of manure. If that had gone to trial, especially considering how Biden had mishandled classified information for decades, the case would have blown up in Smith’s face. (A lot of the so called classified information was never actually in President Trump’s possession. It was stuck in a government warehouse. This came out after the whole thing was shut down)
The classified documents case was later dismissed by Cannon, who ruled Smith had been unlawfully appointed as special counsel.
Which he was. Prior to this fraudulent appointment by Garland, Smith was working for the ICC playing War Crimes investigator. He was not confirmed by the senate for his position. Garland knew that his appointment was illegal, but since this was arguably, the most corrupt DoJ in decades, the appointment was par for the course.
Prosecutors alleged Lineberger concealed her actions by saving electronic copies of government records under misleading file names, including “chocolate cake recipe” and “bundt cake recipe,” before sending them to personal Hotmail accounts.
According to the indictment, Lineberger received a copy of Smith’s report before Cannon ordered it sealed. Months later, she allegedly forwarded the report to her personal email account.
This nitwit might have had an excuse for having the report before the judge sealed it. Months afterwards? Yeah, she knew what she was doing was illegal. I also think there’s policies about using personal email accounts for official business. Of course, stealing a report is, technically, not official business.
The indictment further alleges Lineberger knew transmitting the volume outside the Department of Justice violated Cannon’s court order.
If convicted, she faces up to 20 years in prison on the obstruction charge, three years for concealment or removal of public records and up to one year on each theft count.
Well, I hope she enjoys her retirement in a nice federal prison. It looks like they have her cold. Now we just need to see if the rest of these clowns, starting with Jack Smith, can be charged. In fact, they should add Merrick Garland to the list being investigated. What I don’t want to see is the same level of lawfare that the Democrats pull. Any charges brought need to have solid, irrefutable evidence. That looks like what they have in this case. Perhaps Lineberger can cut a deal and flip on others on the Smith persecution team.
