Good day all. I guess it was only a matter of time, but it looks like the DoJ is pulling their collectivist thumbs out and opening an investigation into Representative Ilhan Omar, (Commie-New Somalia)
Omar is pretty much the poster child for alleged Democrat corruption. We have everything from potential incest in order to commit immigration fraud, (Marrying her brother), to going from having no money to 10’s of millions almost overnight, and then suddenly back down to near nothing.
Add into that the appearance of a connection to massive levels of fraud being tracked down in Minnesota and you would wonder why it took so long. One reason for this was the previous administration doing the absolute minimum to combat fraud. They also moved to protect anyone they thought was useful to the Democrats goal of absolute power. Now we have a new administration and they are breaking out all the excavation tools need to dig into all the crap that’s out there. Here are the details from the Daily Caller:
Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar currently faces a Justice Department (DOJ) investigation, Vice President JD Vance told the Daily Caller on Tuesday.
The vice president held a press conference Tuesday afternoon in place of White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt. Daily Caller White House correspondent Reagan Reese asked Vance about whether Omar could be facing an indictment.
“I want to ask you about the anti-fraud task force. You previously mentioned that Ilhan Omar seemed to have committed immigration fraud. Do you anticipate an indictment against her, an indictment related to that situation?” Reese asked.
Personally, I damn well hope so and not just on immigration fraud. However, Vice President Vance had to be a bit more circumspect in his response.
“So Reagan, I don’t want to prejudge an investigation,” Vance replied. “You read the things about Ilhan Omar, and about who she married, and whether she didn’t marry this person or that person. It certainly seems like something fishy is there. But everyone is entitled to equal justice under the laws.”
Really? Since when? Oh, right, only Republicans are the ones that are victimized by lawfare. When the Republican party is in charge, they tend to play by the rules, and the rules presume innocence until guilt is proven. For the Democrats, it’s “You name the crime and I’ll name the Republican to throw in jail.”
“So we’re going to investigate it, we’re going to take a look at it. If we think there’s a crime, we’re going to prosecute that crime, and that’s something that the Department of Justice is looking at right now,” he continued.
Biden’s DOJ reportedly launched a probe into Omar aimed at campaign expenditures, personal finances and alleged contacts with a non-U.S. citizen, according to The New York Times. People with knowledge on the situation said Washington, D.C., federal prosecutors began the investigation with the DOJ integrity unit in June 2024. However, the probe fizzled out after agents did not discover evidence justifying further investigation, one person briefed regarding internal deliberations said anonymously.
I doubt they looked very hard, if at all. We’re seeing actual investigations ongoing and arrests over all the fraud that happened under the Biden Maladministration. (Granted, it goes back a long time) With the exception of a few arrests and convictions in Minnesota, not much was actually done until the Trump DoJ went to work. You can also look at the case of the January 6th bomber. For four years they couldn’t find the criminal. Then in came Kash Patel and Dan Bongino. It took them about 6-9 months to find the guy just be looking at the evidence already collected.
Now the question is, will the FBI and DoJ actually find anything? As unlikely as it is, it’s possible that Ilhan Omar is actually innocent. However, there has been so much smoke out there regarding her background, both personal and financial, that there has to be some fire there somewhere. We shall see.
