Good day all. About a year ago, a group of Antifa terrorists decided it would be great idea to attack an ICE detention center in Texas. To add to their stupidity, they opened fire, wounding a police officer. The idiots were caught and convicted. Now the sentences have been handed down.
The sentences range from a minimum of 30 years to 100 years for the trigger happy moron who shot the police officer. Here are the details from Fox News:
Eight protesters accused by the Justice Department of having ties to the far-left network Antifa were sentenced to decades in federal prison on Tuesday for their roles in a violent July 4, 2025, ambush outside a North Texas immigration detention center.
Benjamin Song, a former U.S. Marine Corps reservist who was previously convicted of attempted murder for shooting Alvarado Police Lt. Thomas Gross, received the maximum sentence of 100 years behind bars, according to a report from The Associated Press.
This disgrace to the Marine Corps should be hanged, but I can accept his dying in prison.
Seven other defendants received prison terms ranging from 30 to 70 years, including Autumn Hill and Savanna Batten, who were each sentenced to 50 years, according to the report.
Basically, none of these people will ever see the light of day. According to a press release from the Department of Justice:
Benjamin Hanil Song, who was convicted of the attempted murder of a law enforcement officer, was sentenced to 100 years in prison. Together, the Prairieland terrorists received a combined sentence of 450 years in prison:
- Maricela Rueda was sentenced to 70 years in prison;
- Cameron Arnold was sentenced to 50 years in prison;
- Savanna Batten was sentenced to 50 years in prison;
- Zachary Evetts was sentenced to 50 years in prison;
- Bradford Morris was sentenced to 50 years in prison;
- Elizabeth Soto was sentenced to 50 years in prison; and
- Daniel Rolando Sanchez-Estrada was sentenced to 30 years in prison.
The lengthy sentences follow a federal jury trial in Fort Worth where the defendants, described by the DOJ as members of a North Texas Antifa cell, were convicted of providing material support to terrorists, rioting and conspiring to use and carry explosives, Fox News Digital previously reported. Authorities said the ambush at the Prairieland ICE detention center involved fireworks, gunfire directed at officers, and damage to vehicles and buildings.
The gun was why these morons are going to die in prison. If they had left that behind, they might have gotten out in 10-15 years. Now?
Despite the convictions, the defendants and their families have denied any affiliation with Antifa, maintaining that they were demonstrating in support of detained immigrants, The AP reported.
Song’s defense attorney tried to play down the shooting of the Police Officer, saying it was an accident.
Song’s attorney, Phillip Hayes, argued his client only provided “suppressive fire” and that the police officer was struck by a ricocheted bullet after “aggressively” drawing his gun.
The only reason the officers and agents drew their weapons was being under fire in the first place. As for this idiot remark, “Aggressively” drew his gun? Please! In that situation, where you are being fired on by terrorists, the process for unholstering a pistol is no different than drawing it when you put it away, just a bit faster.
“Song, aside from this day, has had an impeccable life. A former Marine. A good student,” Hayes said, noting Song’s intent to appeal. “He had a lot of good qualities that were just ignored. The judge went ahead and gave as much as he could.”
All those “Good qualities” ended when he opened fire on a federal installation and hit a police officer. Of course, the usual suspects in Congress weren’t happy about their goons going away for what amounts to life in prison. Here are those details from Fox News:
Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., sparked fierce backlash after her apparent defense of accused antifa cell members sentenced to decades in prison for a violent attack on a Texas immigration facility that federal prosecutors called an act of terrorism.
“These sentences are a travesty and totally unjustified, but that’s the point,” Tlaib, a progressive lawmaker associated with “the Squad,” wrote on social media. “Americans hate the fascist Trump regime, so the only way they can try to cling to power is brute force.”
Tlaib is a traitor. I’m not going to sugarcoat it. I think she’s crossed the line and has committed treason as defined by the Constitution. She is definitely guilty of supporting terrorism, both here in the United States and in the Middle East. I would love to boot this bitch out of the country, but, unlike her fellow cohort in crime, Ilhan Omar, she was born in the United States.
Tlaib sharply criticized a 2025 document, known as the National Security Presidential Memo 7, that President Donald Trump released in the wake of conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s assassination and that classified antifa as a “domestic terrorist organization.”
Of course she did. She’s probably funding them to some extent. Which makes me think. Will the money trails that the FBI is now following have one that leads to Tlaib? That would explain why she’s so enraged over these terrorists being locked up for 100 years. She might be afraid that she might be joining them.
“NSPM-7 is a grave threat to all of us and more bulls— ‘terrorism’ charges like these are coming,” she added.
Perhaps it’s time to take a look at what constitutes terrorism in the eyes of the United States? According to Grok, this is what the FBI considers terrorism.
“The unlawful use of force or violence against persons or property to intimidate or coerce a government, the civilian population, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives.”
Considering that the Left has been engaging in violent attacks against Federal property and federal agents, as well as anyone that likes what President Trump is doing, yep, Antifa and other groups have been engaging in terrorism.
The comments sparked sharp criticism from conservatives, who argued Tlaib appeared to excuse the behavior of the violent rioters.
“They were proven at court to be part of a terrorist antifa cell that trained for and planned violence using firearms,” journalist Andy Ngo wrote. “They used large explosives to lure out federal agents and police before shooting one in the neck. The trial featured key testimonies from five cell members who flipped, detailing how they organized behind the antifa ideology.”
Then Ngo really twisted the knife.
“Congresswoman, I know you must be very upset that these terrorists you are sympathetic to didn’t get away with it this time,” Ngo added.
Tlaib and a significant percentage of the Democrats in Congress see Antifa as their “Army.” It used to be the KKK that they counted on to bash heads and lynch the enemies of the Democrat Party. When the KKK became a problem, they turned on them. They had planned on using the Black Lives Only Matter thugs, but they quickly discredited themselves. Now it’s Antifa they’re backing and this time people such as Tlaib want violence.
She and the others in the Democrat party are doing everything they can to trigger a reaction and kick off a civil war. They believe that if it happens, they will win, then they can tear up the Constitution and declare the United States to be the new Soviet Union. They are sadly mistaken.
Tlaib needs to be expelled from Congress. She and the rest of the “Squad,” along with far to many other Democrats have proven that they are an actual threat to the United States, the American people and the Constitution of the United States. These communists have done everything they can to split America and create two groups that won’t talk to each other. Tlaib and the others have managed to recreate the state of the nation in 1860 again. We don’t need this again.
