One of Newsom’s inner circle working for FBI and wore a wire

Good day all. This story came out just before the 4th of July so most people probably missed it. It seems that the FBI managed to put someone from Govno Gavin “Hair Gel” Newsom’s inner circle into place wearing a wire.

Govno Hair Gel Newsom has run California right into the ground. He did this after, as mayor, running San Francisco right into the ground. He’s now looking at running for president so he can run the entire country into the ground. However, there are a few things that have come up that may interfere with his plans. One is the massive levels of welfare fraud now being investigated. The other may be some financial shenanigans by his wife and himself.

Recently, there was a report that the FBI was looking into Gruesome Newsom’s wife and an NGO she runs. They’ve denied everything of course, but this is where things get really interesting. One of Newsom’s inner circle attended a number of meetings while wearing a wire. Here are the details from the New York Post:

The FBI had a mole inside Gov. Gavin Newsom’s political orbit before the agency’s corruption probe expanded into the governor and his wife, The Post has learned.

Democrat insider Alexis Podesta, 45, secretly recorded conversations during the criminal probe into Newsom’s then-chief of staff, Dana Williamson, 53, who pleaded guilty to federal fraud and tax charges in May, according to Williamson’s attorney.

I looked up Alexis Podesta. One of the first things that came up on a search was another New York Post story:

Alexis Podesta has been one of Sacramento’s most influential behind-the-scenes power brokers for years — the kind of political insider whose name rarely makes headlines despite her fingerprints being all over California politics.

Well, I think it’s safe to say those days are over.

Podesta, 45, spent years climbing the Democratic political ladder before cashing in as a lobbyist. She currently owns the Podesta Company, a Sacramento lobbying and government affairs firm launched in 2020 after leaving state government.

She previously served as secretary of the California Business, Consumer Services and Housing Agency under then-Gov. Jerry Brown from 2017 to 2020. Before that, she worked in Brown’s office as director of external affairs, director of international affairs and chief of protocol.

She definitely knows where all the bodies are buried. She may have buried a few of them herself, so to speak. This is probably why the FBI “Talked” with her.

Podesta has not been charged with a crime, but her attorney, Bill Portanova, has identified her as the uncharged co-conspirator described in the Williamson indictment and confirmed she has cooperated with federal investigators.

And there it is. The FBI probably found something and used it to flip her. Whatever they found may not have been enough to get her more than a few years in Club Fed, but for people like Podesta, anything that could get them convicted of a felony or locked up has to be avoided at any costs. Flipping on the others? That probably took her all of 30 seconds to agree to, at least in her own mind. (I’m sure her lawyer had a few choice things to say to her)

Williamson pleaded guilty in May to conspiracy to commit bank and wire fraud, filing a false tax return and making false statements to the FBI.

I vaguely recall that. I didn’t write anything about it since I didn’t know much and just assumed it was yet another crooked Democrat who was being sacrificed fort the good of the party.

Federal prosecutors alleged Williamson and others orchestrated a scheme to siphon roughly $225,000 from a dormant campaign account belonging to former Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra, who’s now the Democratic frontrunner to succeed Newsom as governor. Williamson disguised payments as legitimate consulting fees while routing the money to benefit Becerra’s former chief of staff, Sean McCluskie.

I followed the link on the scheme. It wasn’t political in nature, it was just plain embezzlement. They were stealing money from Becerra’s old campaign account. Why they thought they would get away with it is beyond me. Eventually someone, perhaps Becerra himself, (Since he’s ultimately responsible for those funds), would have discovered the missing money. I guess it was just the typical arrogance of Liberal Democrats in Kalifornistan. (And everywhere else it seems)

Williamson disguised payments as legitimate consulting fees while routing the money to benefit Becerra’s former chief of staff, Sean McCluskie.

This brings us to Podesta. It seems she inherited responsibility for the account. She saw the money transfers but thought, she claims, that they were perfectly fine and proper. This may be true, but that isn’t what may have gotten her to agree to wear a wire.

According to court filings, Williamson, while serving as Newsom’s chief of staff, shared confidential state government information with a co-conspirator — who has since been identified as Podesta — regarding a corporate client that reporting has identified as Activision Blizzard.

Williamson’s plea agreement states that she was captured in a June 2024 wiretap strategizing with the co-conspirator about how to respond to a Public Records Act request involving the state’s litigation against the company. Williamson and Podesta exchanged text messages on the issue, according to court records. Podesta has not publicly commented on the matter.

And since the unindicted co-conspirator was working with the FBI to keep her own bony libtard ass out of prison the FBI was also seeing those messages, probably in real time. In the mean time, the investigations are continuing and now they are taking aim at Govno Hair Gel and his wife.

The disclosure, (That Podesta was wearing a wire), comes as Newsom announced last month that he and his wife — whose nonprofit has been burning through money in recent years — as well as members of the governor’s inner circle are under federal investigation.

From what I’ve read, and I haven’t really dug into it, it looks like a number of sweetheart deals utilizing taxpayer funds may have been steered to Newsom’s wife.

Within hours of that announcement, Newsom blasted out an email to raise money for political action committee.

I think he may need to change that to a criminal defense fund. What this is showing is that this isn’t the corrupt Biden/Garland DoJ or the crooked Wray FBI. Many people have complained about why there have been no arrests regarding all the corruption and fraud either implemented by the Democrats or covered up. However, with the news that the FBI had recordings, the Sacramento Democrat insiders as well crapping their collectivist pants.

Assemblymember Josh Hoover (R-Folsom) told The Post he was among those who received one of the letters even though he had never spoken with either Williamson or Podesta.

“A lot of people received letters essentially informing us that there were certain periods of time where the FBI was given access to follow phone calls,” Hoover said.

“I don’t know how these investigations work, but it sounds like they cast a pretty broad net across the Capitol community to see what they could find.”

Most of these people are probably innocent bystanders that were caught in the crossfire. The ones who probably haven’t received a letter about the wiretaps are the ones that may be seeing a target letter coming their way.

A separate source with knowledge of the matter said they knew of four Sacramento insiders who also received FBI notifications confirming they had been recorded.

One recipient told the source: “Dude, I got this f—ing letter. I never even met with Dana Williamson!”

Their curiosity was that they never even met with Dana Williamson, so they were wondering what this is all about,” the source said.

And now you have the answer.”

They were probably mentioned in the recordings and the FBI did some checking to see if they needed to bring the extra large paddy wagon to Sacramento. Personally, I think they should just put a fence topped with razor wire all around the city and sentence everyone to 10 years.

Without question, Alexis Podesta is finished in politics. Hopefully, she has enough graft salted away to live out her days in well deserved obscurity. As for Newsom? I suspect he is in full panic mode. It will be interesting to see what happens.
