Is it time to repeal or rewrite the 19th Amendment?

Good day all. This one is going to be a little controversial. There are more and more people saying that ratifying the 19^th Amendment is proving to be a mistake and that it should be either repealed or significantly rewritten.

For those of you who can’t be bothered to read the Constitution, the 19^th Amendment was the one that gave women the right to vote. The Amendment was ratified and certified in 1920, right after the first “War to end all Wars,” World War 1. Prior to that, women couldn’t vote in federal and most state or local elections. (There were a few states that did give women the right to vote)

There have always been wags saying that the United States made a big mistake letting women vote. Almost always, this was said in jest. However, there is a growing number of men who are actually talking about repealing the 19^th Amendment.

There is a reason why more and more people almost all men, are talking about it in a half serious way. The primary reason is what has come to be known as AWFUL’s. This is an acronym that stands for “Angry White Female Urban Liberals.” They are also called Karens as well. These women are, to be blunt, incapable of logical thought and critical thinking. For them, it is always about how something feels to them.

For years we have made jokes about these “Ladies,” and I use that term very loosely. The problem is that many of these jokes are based on actual events. We see them on the news every once in a while when one or more of these women does something really stupid. However, the numbers of these people has grown and so has the actual damage they’ve done.

The straw that may have broken the camel’s back was the recent trial in Massachusetts of Lindsay Clancy. Clancy brutally murdered her three children. There is no question or doubt about this. She has admitted to it and that confession was part of the trial. The trial wasn’t to ascertain her guilt or innocence, it was to determine if she was not criminally responsible. Basically she was trying to use the insanity defense.

I won’t bore you with all the details of what happened. There was one holdout that triggered a mistrial. The holdout didn’t think she was not criminally responsible, (Insane), and was guilty. What is pushing the calls for the repeal of the 19^th is how women handled the matter of Clancy killing her children. You had crowds of women, almost exclusively white liberal women, who wanted Clancy declared not criminally responsible.

That fight did not stay in the comments. The deliberating jury was nine women and three men. After the mistrial, some of the women went public and described an 11–1 split toward finding Clancy not criminally responsible. They made the holdout the problem. He has since said he thought she knew what she was doing. AWFUL’s have treated him like a villain. A lot of other people, including a lot of women, have treated him like the only person in the room who wouldn’t sign just to end the argument.

It’s only gotten worse for the juror since the mistrial. As more of the female jurors have given interviews, the holdout looks more heroic—and they are, perhaps unintentionally, making the case that he was right not to fold.

Another target of the AWFUL’s has been the ex-husband of the murderer. He wasn’t there when this happened and the evidence shows that the criminal did everything she could to keep him away until she had completed her evil deed. Not according to the AWFUL’s. A number of them have publicly stated that it was impossible for Lindsay Clancy to have murdered her children and that her now ex-husband did it. I understand he may be taking legal action against these morons.

There are literally thousands of other instances where Liberal White Women show that, while they aren’t stupid, they are lacking in common sense and many do not have a firm grasp on reality. The good news is that there are uncounted number of women who are quite capable of logical thought and have a good critical thinking ability.

They also tend to be far more independent minded than Karens and AWFUL’s. From what I’ve been seeing, they are furious with the harpies that are supporting Lindsay Clancy. Many of these women are also mothers and I’m sure a lot of them had some postpartum issues. None of them killed their children.

This brings us to the calls to repeal the 19^th Amendment. To be perfectly honest, it’s not going to happen. Even if the votes both in Congress and the state legislatures were there, it wouldn’t be just the lunatic AWFUL’s and Karens that would be disenfranchised, you would also stop women who actually think instead of feel on certain matters from voting.

There are some who agree that an outright repeal is a bad idea, but that modifying the 19^th in some way to make it harder for these women who have shown they are not all that rational from voting might be a better way. That brings up another question. How do you decide? The answer is simple. You can’t.

The only way to correct this issue is to simply stop putting up with these leftist, irrational Karens. When they start acting out and trying to browbeat everyone, especially men, to agree with them, stand up to them and do what that holdout juror did. Say no and stand your ground. If you need to, get loud, but under no circumstance, get violent. If you need to, throw some sliced bread at them and trigger their sandwich making instincts to calm them down.

We don’t need to repeal the 19th Amendment. We need to stop indulging the worst of this chorus. Legal consequences belong where the law already does: if someone falsely accuses Patrick Clancy of killing those children, or threatens a juror, that’s not commentary. Everywhere else the cost should be social—no more polite silence while a mob rewrites the facts. Help for women actually in a postpartum crisis is a separate issue, and it is a real one. It is not a reason to treat a child-killing as a vibe, and it is not a reason to pretend the franchise is the problem.
