Good day all. When the Supreme Court ruled that using affirmative action when selecting who will be admitted into colleges was unconstitutional, the Left went into their usual mode of screaming, ranting and raving, saying that now no black Americans will ever be able to get into college.

Well, a funny thing has happened on the way to the Liberal meltdown. A new study has come out and it seems that minority enrollment has actually increased. Here are the details from the College Fix:
Racial minority enrollment has increased nationwide at both the undergraduate and graduate level despite the Supreme Court ruling that banned affirmative action.

“Hispanic, Black, and multiracial students had large enrollment growth at both the undergraduate and graduate levels,” according to a study from the National Student Clearinghouse Research Center.
The study compared enrollments from 2025 and 2026.
During the spring 2026 semester, nearly 2 million black undergraduate students and around 364,000 black graduate students were enrolled at colleges and universities across the United States.
Compared to numbers from spring 2025, black undergraduate enrollment has increased 3.4 percent, while black graduate enrollment grew by 6.5 percent. The study also shows similar improvements among Hispanic and multiracial students.
How could this happen? For decades, White Liberals have been saying that it is impossible for blacks, Hispanics and other minorities to get into college without their help. They couldn’t pass any entrance exams because those exams are designed for white people and blacks simply weren’t smart enough to pass those same tests.

College Fix reached out to all the race hustling Minority Support organizations for a comment.
Several advocacy groups, including the NAACP and the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, did not respond to multiple emails in the past several weeks seeking comment on the findings and how they related to concerns about the affirmative action prohibition.
However, an ambassador for Project 21 said the data shows concerns about affirmative action prohibitions were overblown.
“Most of these students never needed the racial preference,” Donald Eason said in an email to The College Fix. “I didn’t, and my children didn’t need it.”
Eason told The Fix: “Most Black undergraduate applicants never relied on it. They applied on their own merit—their record, their work, and their ability.”
The dirty little secret about Affirmative Action is that people will think that certain groups got their enrollment slots solely due to their skin color and not due to their own merit. If there is no Affirmative Action, then people know that these very same people got in due to their own hard work.
Eason argues that affirmative action was actively harming retention rates at universities. Without programs shoehorning students into universities that do not suit them, minority students are now encouraged to enroll to attend colleges that match their academic preparation.
“Only a relatively small number of elite institutions used race as a tool for enrollment.” Eason said. “When you take that tool away, students are more likely to be admitted on merit rather than skin color or socioeconomic checkbox.”
Those “Elite” schools are primarily the Ivy league schools such as Harvard, Yale, Princeton, etc. Even though these schools have been told, repeatedly, to stop using Affirmative Action, they continue to do so. They just try to hide it. To bad for them that the DoJ is starting to come after them, and lawyers for students who were denied admission because they weren’t members of one of the “Special” groups are also starting to come after them as well.
Sadly, it’s going to take a major ruling in civil court that hits these schools in the bank accounts before they seriously reconsider their racist admission policies. (Like a few billion dollar judgments) With the DoJ? It may take an actual criminal investigation, and then indictments and trials of those ignoring the various rulings. Realizing that you might end up in jail for virtue signaling can do wonders for changing admission policies to be more merit based.
“After the Supreme Court ruling, Black freshman enrollment at Arkansas colleges rose about 25 percent from 2023 to 2025, and Hispanic freshman enrollment rose more than 22 percent,” he, (Eason), said. “At the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville the increases were even larger. That is the opposite of the collapse that was predicted.”

This isn’t surprising. When you stop playing racial preference games, things level out and you end up with a far better cross section of people. Now all we need to do is use this study to bludgeon the “Usual Suspects” in academia and elsewhere and show the world what they truly are. Liberal racists.
