Republican Shock and Awe!

Good morning, it seems there’s been a small political earthquake in New York. The Republican party has won a congressional seat held by Democrats for over 80 years!

That thud you just heard was Obama’s reelection chances hitting a brick wall.

The seat was formally held by that well regarded pervert Anthony “Oh I wish I was an Oscar Meyer” Weiner who resigned when he got caught exposing himself to women who were not his wife. He was forced to resign so a special election was held.

The election was yesterday and the winner was Bob Turner. As of this posting Turner had won 53% of the vote, which is outside the margin of Democrat election rigging and voter fraud. 😉

There’s more on this from the Washington Post:

Turner, 70, a retired cable TV executive who has never served in elective office, defeated Democratic State Assemblyman David Weprin, 55, who has two decades of experience in public service, to fill the seat left vacant when Anthony Weiner (D) resigned in disgrace in June after more than 12 years in the House.

Interesting. The voters chose a man who had retired after years of working in the private sector over a professional politician.

It doesn’t help matters that the Democrats in general and Obama in particular have totally destroyed the economy.

“Make no mistake about it, the albatross around Weprin’s neck is named Obama, and Democrats who value honesty will tell you privately that the president’s 37 percent approval rating in the district is making it difficult for Weprin to win a race that in almost any other time would be a slam-dunk,” Stuart Rothenberg, an independent analyst and editor of the Rothenberg Political Report, wrote Tuesday.

Another problem for Obama in this district is the large number of voters who happen to be Jewish. They’ve been watching Obama’s handling of the middle east and seeing how he likes to kowtow to Muslims. Now Israel is under threat of a general war caused by this idiot.

The New York race, for a seat representing a large portion of Queens and a slice of Brooklyn, also turned on Obama’s handling of Israel and Palestine. The district’s large contingent of Orthodox Jews opposes his proposal for Palestinian statehood drawn around 1967 borders. The U.N. General Assembly is likely to vote on the Palestinian statehood issue when it convenes in New York next week.

I think the voters in this district are catching on to Obama. He hates Israel and wants it to be destroyed. What Obama and the Democrats have once again failed to understand, is most Americans support Israel and don’t particularly like the Arabs. Might be this little thing called 9/11 and the hole that used to be the World Trade Center.

So, will Obama and the Democrats take this as a warning shot across their bow?

Oh HELL no!

They are bound and determined to fail and fail miserably. The voters in New York’s Ninth Congressional District just let them know that their days in power are numbered.

Bubye Obama, Bye bye, Bye now, bye. so long, see ya! ((Ok, I am looking a bit to far forward, but allow me my gloat))
