Will the Democrats move their convention?

Oh God I hope they do! The Democrat convention will be held in about 5 months to nominate the ScoaMF in Chief to a second term as the most incompetent president in History.

Moving the convention our of North Carolina at this late date will be a disaster. Contracts will have to be paid off, a new venue, complete with Greek columns, will have to located and booked, and all the logistical details will have to be completely redone. This would not be cheap and the Democrats are already having money problems this year and moving will be very expensive.

It couldn’t happen to a nice bunch of Politically Correct idiotic moonbats.

So wha’s the story with all this talk of moving the convention? Well there’s always been a bit of stress with regards to Obama and his minions choosing North Carolina, mostly due to North Carolina being a “Right to Work” state. The Unions HATE not being able to force people into their unions which is exactly what the Right to work laws intended. Now, the big reason is Gay Marriage. Tuesday North Carolina had an election and one of the questions on the ballot was an amendment to their constitution preventing gay marriage and civil unions. It passed overwhelmingly. This has sent the Communist Democrat party base into a tizzy. A petition has been put out there demanding that the convention be moved to a more politically appropriate site.

Here’s a few details on the fun and games in the party of Moonbats. The article, written by George E. Condon Jr. of the National Journal says:

Democrats who already were queasy about the site of their national convention could be excused after Tuesday’s election in North Carolina if they asked, “Tell me again just why we’re going to Charlotte this year?” In fact, many Democrats privately are asking exactly that after the state’s voters overwhelmingly approved a measure outlawing not just same-sex marriage — which already was illegal in North Carolina — but also any form of civil unions. Almost immediately after the vote, more than 20,000 people signed a “move the convention” petition being pushed by a New York group called Gay Marriage USA. And Twitter accounts lit up with hundreds of angry tweets demanding the party pull out of Charlotte.

Heeheehee, HAHAHAHA! *chortle* Sorry, I couldn’t help myself. The Progressive chickens are coming home to roost and they are doing their impression of seagulls. They’ve come in, making a lot of noise and they are about to start crapping on everything…Sort of like the Occupy Space and Waste Oxygen crowd. Come to think of it, this IS the OSWO crowd, right down to using a police car as a puvlic latrine. 😀

And it’s not as if things were going swimmingly for convention organizers before Tuesday’s vote. Fundraising was lagging with the Democrats’ decision not to accept money from corporations, making it much more difficult to reach the needed $36.6 million. That led to more pressure on labor unions to pony up. But they would rather spend their money on grassroots efforts and are still miffed that the party decided to go to a “right to work” state and a city with few unionized hotels.

You can add to the mix an unpopular Democratic governor who has decided not to run for another term, likely handing the statehouse to the Republicans. And don’t forget a messy sexual harassment scandal that has forced the state Democratic Party’s executive director to resign and left the party chairman with no choice but to step down with a new chairman slated to be elected on Saturday.

In other words, Situation Normal, All Fucked Up! Standard operating procedures for the Party of Incompetence. (As opposed to the Party of Stupid. That would be Republicans)

And, oh yes, there is the fact that President Obama will be accepting his nomination with a speech at the unfortunately named Bank of America Stadium, an occasion that will lead to a run of stories about the $45 billion that the banking powerhouse received in the unpopular TARP bailout. And there will be mentions of the bank’s inclusion on the list of mortgage companies where staffers signed foreclosure documents without verifying the information on them.

I have to ask. What Wile E. Coyote type super genius thought that North Carolina would be the perfect spot for a convention? Who else was in the running?

What’s not to love about a Charlotte convention? When the city beat out the other finalists — Cleveland, Minneapolis and St. Louis — it used the slogan “Charlotte in 2012: Reaching for Tomorrow.” The challenge for Democrats now is to try to forget a pretty messy Today.

All those other cities would have been a far more reliable venue for the Nomination of Barack Hussein “Dog Devourer” Obama. North Carolina is hurting economically and although the ScoaMF did win there in 2008, it was a very narrow victory. The McStupid/PALIN!! ticket came very close and probably would have won if McStuid hadn’t lived up to his name.

So, what should we do to help this move along? Sign the petition? Scream, rant, rave and act like juvenile imbeciles typical Democrats? After all, this could be Operation Chaos, version 2. Personally, I feel we MUST do everything we can to help the Democrats completely trash their convention.
