The Obama dictatorship, Episode 42

Good day all, once again Der Fubar is showing his knowledge of the Constitution by completely ignoring it. So what is the SCoaMF doing this time? Another back door amnesty for illegal aliens of course.

Here are some of the details from The Hill:

The Obama administration announced Friday it will stop deporting illegal immigrants who come to the country at a young age.

Now there is a major issue with illegals who were brought in to the United States by the criminal activities of their parents. In many cases they have no connection to the “Mother Country” and may not even speak the language. However, this isn’t the reason “The One” is once again bypassing Congress and ramming through a backdoor amnesty.

The politically charged decision comes as Obama faces a tough reelection fight against Republican Mitt Romney, with Hispanic voters in swing states seen as a key bloc.

As usual, the Meathead is doing this strictly for political purposes. Would anyone care to hazard a guess on how many will register to vote illegally? I’m sure The Attorney General of the United States will work to maintain the integrity of the ballot box. ((Justice Department Files Lawsuit Against Florida Over Purging Of Voter Rolls)) , ((Florida’s Approach to Purging Voter Rolls of Noncitizens Prompts Federal Lawsuit))

Yeah, I know. Who am I kidding?

Needless to say, a fair number of people in Congress are NOT happy with the latest end run by this jumped up burger flipper.

A number of Republicans criticized the move, arguing it could be illegal.

“How can the administration justify allowing illegal immigrants to work in the U.S. when millions of Americans are unemployed?” said Rep. Lamar Smith (R-Texas), chairman of the House Judiciary Committee. “President Obama and his administration once again have put partisan politics and illegal immigrants ahead of the rule of law and the American people.”

“President Obama’s attempt to go around Congress and the American people is at best unwise and possibly illegal,” Graham said in a Tweet.

“This type of policy proposal, regardless of motivation, will entice people to break our laws,” Graham said in another tweet.

Allen West, (Great Man-Fla) said:

“What is going to happen as far as their right to vote?” West said on Fox News Friday. “Is this one of those backdoor opportunities to allow people in the next five months to get the opportunity to vote? Will we see Janet Napolitano and the president come out with a new edict that says since we allow these people to be here legally, we’re now going to allow them to vote? How far down the rabbit hole will it go?”

Representative West is correct of course. The whole system is a mess. One thing we could do is deport the parents, after all they are criminals, and as to their children, depending on their age and other variables when they came in, allow them to apply for green cards and come back in. They could even be fast tracked and this would not count against the normal numbers who lawfully wait their turn.

Of course, not everyone was unhappy with the latest dictatorial pronouncement from Der Fubar:

The National Immigration Law Center (NILC), an immigration reform advocacy group, lauded Obama’s announcement on Friday, saying it was evidence of his “true capacity to lead.”

The group then said it was time for Congress to pass the DREAM Act.

“President Obama is showing the nation his true capacity to lead by taking the bold and courageous step to remove the fear of deportation and provide dreamers with the legal means to contribute their full potential to society,” said Marielena Hincapié, the executive director for the group.

“This announcement provides real and much-needed relief now, but it is not enough. President Obama cannot provide these youth with the path to citizenship, which would allow DREAMers to participate in all sectors of civil society. We therefore renew our calls to Congress to pass the DREAM Act.”

This group and a number of others are dead set against securing the borders and basically think the United States owes the world a living. Most real people have had it and are at the point of securing the borders in a not very lawful manner…By shooting anyone coming across illegally.

Groups like the NILC want open borders and welfare/taxpayer funded handouts to everyone from the third world. The do NOT want them to actually assimilate and become Americans. There is no doubt in my mind that this group and all the other Progressive left wing groups intend to engage in voter fraud to insure that Obama gets reelected and return the government to the Statist Totalitarian Democrat party.

The corruption of the Democrats and Obama is so deep it can not be corrected. The Democrats need to be removed from office. I want it done via the ballot box, but if the Democrats use this as a means to steal the 2012 election, I am very much afraid we will be one step closer to using the Ammo box instead.

  3. As you can see, a few comments from the leftward leaning readers, (Which amazes me), have come in. I was delayed in releasing them due to personal issues. (Real life is a real pain at times)

As you can see, and since I don’t feel like replying to each post individually, the commentators haven’t considered a few things. Since I posted this blog entry, several members of Congress are looking at filing a lawsuit to stop this. Also, people are beginning to realize that in the current economic environment, we’re about to have between 500K – 1 million people dumped into the job market. People who shouldn’t be here in the first place.

I hope more commentators arrive on both sides. I like a good flame war now and then. 😉

I continue in wonder reading arguments of President Obama
defying the Constitution or for that matter, even bypassing Congress.
Your arguments ring hollow (and I’m being generous by calling them
arguments). Today’s Congress is dysfunctional, mainly because the GOP
refuses to pass most anything, even legislation they support. If they
don’t like what the President is doing, why not just do their job? The
President is operating well within his authority as he has “the inherent
power to execute prosecutorial discretion” as Daniel Kanstroom, a
professor of immigration and human rights law at Boston College
explained. Had the President granted legal status, you might have
something. But he didn’t. What he did was to put their immigration
status on hold until there’s a legislative fix.

Actually, he’s putting the ball back in Congress’s court, forcing
them to end their filibuster games, do their job, and bring the Dream
    Act to a vote.

Bravo! Hilarious parody of what the non-thinking right bleats out on the most extreme fringes of society.

    • Me? Extreme? Whatever gave you that idea? /sarc
If you think I’m extreme, you don’t know some people I’ve known over the years. One said his answer to illegal immigration was simple. Put a bounty on them. $50 dead or alive. Even I don’t agree with that…mostly. 😉

And Mrs. Webmaster, like most LEGAL immigrants despise illegals with every fiber of their being. What she and the others went through to lawfully enter the United States is obscene. I also work with someone who went on a short vacation last year to Canada. She is here on an H1B visa. (Don’t get me started on that!) Her visa was screwed up and she couldn’t get back in. It took her a month to fix that and several more weeks before she could come back to work.

The immigration system is broken and needs a full and complete overhaul. However, if you are here illegally, you have no rights as far as I and a number of others are concerned. As to the children of illegals? See my post for recommendations. Here is the key part:

“One thing we could do is deport the parents, after all they are criminals,
and as to their children, depending on their age and other variables
when they came in, allow them to apply for green cards and come back in.
