And so ends the Republic

The United States Supreme Court has just ended the Great Experiment. They have upheld Obamacare in it’s entirety including the Mandate. We, the American People, no longer have any rights at all. The Constitution, that wonderful document, has been voided.

First was Wicaard v Filburn ((Wickard verse Filburn)), then came the Kelo Decision ((Kelo v. City of New London)) and now Obamacare. I won’t go into the virtual end of the 4th ((Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution)), 5th ((Fifth Amendment to the United States Constitution)) and 6th amendments ((Sixth Amendment to the United States Constitution)). The United States Supreme Court along with the lower courts have, for decades, been reducing the rights of the People and increasing the powers of the Government.

The ONLY hope left to keep this nightmare inflicted on us by the Obama Tyranny, (And yes, he IS a tyrant) is to remove Obama and as may democrats as possible from office. Then that useless moron Romney will need to keep his word, (HAH!) and repeal this piece of crap. I would also add it is far past time from Congress to start exercising their oversight responsibilities and start looking into removing some of these judges, at ALL federal court levels.

I also think it is time for the states to begin looking into a Constitutional Convention with the goal of stripping away the usurped powers that Washington has accrued to itself. This is a very drastic step, but with what has happened today and in the past, I see no other alternative that will avoid a very bad situation.

What is that situation? Allow me to give you a hint.

First comes the Soap Box. Then comes the Ballot Box. When all else fails, there is always the Ammo Box. What that means is that people will have given up hope in restoring a Constitutional America and decide the only other option is to take the guns out of the closet and use them to reform the government.

This should be avoided, but not at “All Costs.” After all, Thomas Jefferson, the 3rd President of the United States and the principle author of the Declaration of Independence stated:

“God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, and always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to the importance of the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. …

And what country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to the facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure.”

He also said in a letter to William S. Smith ((Williams S. Smith)):

“And what country can preserve its liberties, if the rulers are not warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms.”

If there isn’t significant change next year, God help us, we may see a rebellion with all the horrors that will bring.

Remember in November and get rid of all the bastards!
