Horror in Aurora

Good afternoon. As I write this, information on the mass murder that occurred last night at the premier of the new Batman movie continues to be released. This is what we know at this time.

At around 12am Mountain time in Aurora, Colorado, a masked man broke into a full theater, released one or more canisters of tear gas and open fire on the crowd with a long gun, (Rifle or shotgun), and a pistol. The alleged killer is 24-year-old James Holmes and he was taken into custody in the parking lot of the theater complex. He had the firearms mentioned, a gas mask, a riot helmet and was wearing a bullet proof vest. Police were on scene to handle the crowds for the movie but were not inside when the attack began.

At this time, it looks like 13 people were killed and 50+ injured. How many of those injuries were due to gunshots as opposed to people injured while escaping the attack is not known. There appears to be at least one explosive device that was located in the theater and the suspects apartment is apparently booby trapped. Police EOD specialists are working to make the apartment safe for investigators.

The Angry Systems Administrator, Mrs. Webmaster and all the others at Anger Central offer our heartfelt sorrow for the families of those murdered and injured. It is my hope that the suspect is quickly tried after a full, competent investigation and if convicted in a court of law by a jury, quickly executed slowly and painfully. I prefer the Tom Kratman method. Remove his reproductive organs and hang him on a cross for a few days.

Now, in a not unexpected development, the left wing Moonbat brigade has once again started spewing their usual crap. First, ABC News claimed that the suspect, James Holmes, was a member of the Colorado Tea Party ((ABC draws possible Tea Party connection with alleged Aurora shooter)). ABC was quickly called on the carpet and issued the following retraction:

Editor’s Note: An earlier ABC News broadcast report suggested that a Jim Holmes of a Colorado Tea Party organization might be the suspect, but that report was incorrect. ABC News and Brian Ross apologize for the mistake, and for disseminating that information before it was properly vetted.

Of course this was just the start of the attacks by the left. The Mayor of New York City, Michael “Nanny” Bloomberg promptly opened his big mouth on his hatred of private ownership of firearms. From Politico:

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, one of the nation’s highest-profile supporters of gun control, said Friday that “soothing words are nice ” but demanded that the presidential candidates “stand up and tell us what they’re going to do about” preventing mass shootings.

I have an idea moron. How about allowing people to carry guns in areas that scumbags like this murderer use for a shooting gallery?

“I mean, there’s so many murders with guns every day,” Bloomberg continued. “It’s just gotta stop. And instead of these two people, President [Barack] Obama and Governor [Mitt] Romney talking in broad things about, they want to make the world a better place. OK, tell us how. And this is a problem. No matter where you stand on the Second Amendment, no matter where you stand on guns, we have a right to hear from both of them, concretely, not just in generalities, specifically, what are they going to do about guns?”

Well, how about we tell your pals Obama and Holder to stop sending guns to criminals in Mexico? Nanny Bloomberg, who is a classic totalitarian, absolutely despises anyone having a firearm…except for him, his elitist friends and their bodyguards. His contempt for the second amendment has been documented here as well as other web sites and blogs.

Another blithering idiotic Moonbat taking advantage of this horror is Piers Morgan who works for the Communist News Network CNN. This jerk couldn’t wait to start screaming about gun control. His basic belief on the private ownership of firearms mirrors Nanny Bloombergs. They shouldn’t have them at all. Morgan is a “Journalist”, (and I use that term advisedly), from England. He moved to the United States after working to ban the private ownership of firearms in Great Britain. No sooner had he heard the news of the murders in Aurora, then he jumped on Twitter and started spewing his usual anti-gun diatribes. You can read his crap on Twitchy.Com.

I’ve been following the Twitter feeds today and you can see the conservative feeds taking the Moonbats to task. Michelle Malkin, The Breitbart Feed, Melissa Clouthier, Mary Katherine Ham and others have been blasting the tweeting Moonbats over their accusations and attacks. I haven’t since I have Real World things to do and frankly, I avoid the Moonbat twitter feeds. I don’t need my blood pressure to be any higher thank you.

Barack Obama, in an unusual sign of respect, has suspended some of his campaign appearances as has Mitt Romney. Both campaigns have pulled their ads from Colorado as have the various PACS. The Obama’s have issued the following statement:

Michelle and I are shocked and saddened by the horrific and tragic shooting in Colorado. Federal and local law enforcement are still responding, and my Administration will do everything that we can to support the people of Aurora in this extraordinarily difficult time. We are committed to bringing whoever was responsible to justice, ensuring the safety of our people, and caring for those who have been wounded. As we do when confronted by moments of darkness and challenge, we must now come together as one American family. All of us must have the people of Aurora in our thoughts and prayers as they confront the loss of family, friends, and neighbors, and we must stand together with them in the challenging hours and days to come.

The Romney’s have issued the following statement:

Ann and I are deeply saddened by the news of the senseless violence that took the lives of 15 people in Colorado and injured dozens more. We are praying for the families and loved ones of the victims during this time of deep shock and immense grief. We expect that the person responsible for this terrible crime will be quickly brought to justice.

The left wing haters have shown that they will not hold back in their lies and falsehoods. They love the bloody shirt ((Waving the Bloody Shirt)) and the more blood the better as far as they’re concerned. We have no idea why this scumbag did what he did, but it’s obvious that he was planning this for quite some time. He is obviously a whackjob and needs to be put down like a rabid dog. However, that is for the courts to deal with.

Meanwhile, I once again offer my condolences to the families of those murdered and wish the injured a full and speedy recovery. As to the Moonbats? You can burn for all I care, Scum.
