Obama built this?

I’m a day late with this one, but better late then never. As I wrote about last week, and everyone else has been hammering on as well, Obama went off message and released his inner Marxist with the comment, “You didn’t build it”.

This remark set off a firestorm and caused Romney to finally go on the attack. Since Obama put his foot in his mouth, right up to the thigh, the Democrats have been trying to deny he meant what he said and that his remarks were taken out of context. One problem with this was Big Chieftess Elizabeth “Fauxahontas” Warren ((Google search for Fauxhontas Warren)). She was the one who came up with the “You didn’t build that” meme that Obama used and she has since reinforced her stupidity.

Here is the quote from the Boston Herald:

Elizabeth Warren yesterday came to the defense her former boss President Obama’s controversial statement that businesses’ owners can’t take credit for their success, repeating her own campaign line that, “nobody got rich on their own.”

Warren’s reiteration of her statement — which became an iconic and controversial cornerstone of her campaign — comes as conservatives have leapt on Obama for saying “If you’ve got a business — you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.”

Warren said during a campaign stop in Dorchester yesterday, “I think the basic notion is right. Nobody got rich on their own. Nobody. People worked hard, they build a business, God bless, but they moved their goods on roads the rest of us helped build, they hired employees the rest of us helped educate, they plugged into a power grid the rest of us helped build,” she said.

“The rest of us made those investments because we wanted businesses to flourish, we wanted them to grow, we wanted them to create opportunity for all of us. That’s what we do together. We get richer as a country when we make those investments.” (H/T Michelle Malkin)

Well, The GOP and the Romney Campaign have released a video that just hammers home what a Marxist Der Fubar really is. This video should be show around the country right up to election day, (Unless the SCoaMF says something else that shows what an incompetent Communist he is), and let America know why we are in the mess we’re in now.

Now, I live just a short distance from the Gilchrist Metal Fabrication Company and I may have driven past it a time or two. I know the area and I understand the devastation that has been wrought by Der Fubar and his Marxist, Totalitarian minions. I now fear that the Gilchrists are going to be hit hard by Obama’s regulatory thugs in the next few weeks. There is no way they can let this pass. I think with the huge reaction on the Net, such as the one from Emperor Misha, GMFC may be ok in that regard. Any regulatory action that that is unjustified, (and by that I refer to the former head of the EPA in Texas’s remarks), is going to be hammered hard. On the flip side, I think that GMFC may be seeing an uptick in business soon. I certainly hope so!
