The Obama terror coverup collapses

It has been a little over two weeks since the consulate in Benghazi was sacked and Ambassador Stevens and several other murdered. Within a few days, most people understood this was a terrorist attack and not some out of control mob rioting over a stupid video.

However, King Putt and his Secretary of Reset Buttons, Hillary Clinton continued to lie about what happened ((Obama Lies, Americans Die)). Now, they are finally beginning to admit that this was an Al Qaeda planned attack. Of course, they are still blaming that damn video even though no one knew of its existence until the SCoaMF’s flunkys announced it on Twitter.

The lies continued for almost two weeks before, slowly, grudgingly, Der Fubar’s minions and flunkies began admitting that they knew it was not a riot gone wrong, but a planned terrorist assault. The only problem was, they knew within 24 hours that this was a terrorist incident. This means that Obama intentionally decided to try and cover this up.

Within 24 hours of the 9-11 anniversary attack on the United States consulate in Benghazi, U.S. intelligence agencies had strong indications al Qaeda–affiliated operatives were behind the attack, and had even pinpointed the location of one of those attackers. Three separate U.S. intelligence officials who spoke to The Daily Beast said the early information was enough to show that the attack was planned and the work of al Qaeda affiliates operating in Eastern Libya. Nonetheless, it took until late last week for the White House and the administration to formally acknowledge that the Benghazi assault was a terrorist attack.

Now why would Obama and Clinton want to cover this up? The answer is simple and terrifying. They, like most of the Progressive Elite, refuse to see this is a military situation and want it handled as a law enforcement matter. To treat it otherwise would be to admit that they were wrong about the War on Terror and what GW Bush did. Now, congress is getting angry over the stonewalling. In a story by The Hill:

Senate Republicans are furious the Obama administration rebuffed their attempts to learn details of the Benghazi attack, only to give the coveted information to The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal.

Furious? Try enraged.

Senators say they were rebuffed by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton when they pressed for more information about the attack that killed U.S. envoy Christopher Stevens in Libya.

“That is the most useless, worthless briefing I have attended in a long time,” Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) told reporters after the closed-door session.

Cankles ((Cankles Defined)) Clinton couldn’t care less what Congress wants. Like Obama, she has airs of royalty and doesn’t believe in the co-equal branches of government.

GOP lawmakers were incensed to find many of the details they tried to learn Thursday were in a front-page article in The Times the following morning.

“I was very disappointed in the briefing yesterday, too. The bottom line is, we asked questions like, ‘How many people were at the Benghazi consulate?’ You pick up The New York Times and you get a blow-by-blow description of what supposedly went on,” said Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee.

The Times published a timeline of the attacks chronicling militants gaining access to the U.S. compound after 9:35 pm on Sept. 11, American security forces attempting to retake it at 10:45 pm and American and Libyan forces regaining control of the main compound around 11:20 pm, before evacuating.

According to the timeline, Libyans found Stevens in the compound after midnight and took him to a hospital, and 20 embassy staff members were hit by mortar rounds around 2 am, an attack that killed two former Navy SEALs.

The official Senate briefing was less informative.

“It was like pulling teeth to get information yesterday,” Graham said of the meeting with Clinton and other administration officials. “A lot of senators were frustrated. And you pick up major newspapers in the country and you find details not shared with you.”

Frankly, Clinton needs to be hauled up in front of Congress, put under oath and raked over the coals. She was personally responsible for the safety and security of the consulate and the people working there. I suspect she didn’t want to say anything because it made her look like what she is. An incompetent buffoon. The story continues on with a few side trips in how the media is covering up Obama’s screwups.

The question of what the White House knew, and when they knew it, will be of keen interest to members of Congress in the election year. Last Thursday, the Obama administration formally briefed House and Senate members on the attack. Those briefings however failed to satisfy many members, particularly Republicans. “That is the most useless, worthless briefing I have attended in a long time,” Sen. Bob Corker, a Tennessee Republican, was quoted as saying.

If Obama should manage to win reelection, but the house and senate are held by the Republicans, I suspect we will start seeing investigations that will make the Watergate hearings ((The Watergate Scandal)) look like a friendly get together. I also think it would be poetic justice. Cankles Clinton was part of the investigation team, until she was fired for lying ((Shocking Revelations about Hillary Clinton’s Watergate Committee Job))

Could this lead to an impeachment hearing? Along with Fast and Furious, and all the other actions of a legally and constitutional dubious nature, yes. Of course, you have people like Harry Reid ((Expulsion and other disciplinary actions)) who will run cover for Obama and not allow him to be impeached. The dishonesty of the Democrats has reached a level not seen in the history of this nation.

Of course, Obama first needs to get reelected. In order to prevent that, you need to vote for Mittens. Then a true investigation of all King Putt’s shenanigans can be undertaken and if warranted, he can be indicted and put on trial.

They only way this will happen is you vote.

Remember in November! Do not let those people who have been killed by Obama’s corruption and incompetence be forgotten!
