Sandy worse than Katrina?

Good day all. Thanks to the blind stupidity of Mayor “Let them eat running shoes” Bloomberg and the complete lack of concern by Barack “It’s all about me” Obama, people are still in serious danger on Staten Island and other parts of New York City and New Jersey.

Governor Christy is working to make things right, within the limits of his power as governor, but for something on a scale this size, it does require federal action. This means FEMA ((Federal Emergency Management Agency)). Now FEMA did not cover its self with glory after Hurricane Katrina. Since them. many people thought they had spent the intervening time looking at what went wrong and taking corrective action. Apparently not. These idiots didn’t have water prepositioned and ready to go. Well, former mayor of New York City, Rudolf Giuliani, let fly at FEMA and Obama.

Now, in case you have forgotten, Mayor Giuliani near the end of his term had to deal with the the complete destruction of the Wold Trade Center and the deaths of almost 3000 people. At one point, he and his team had to evacuate their own emergency response center. He didn’t hesitate to take whatever action was required to rescue survivors and help the injured and displaced. Were mistakes made? Of course. No plan is perfect.

Bloomberg, on the other hand, has ignored the mess, by and large and refused assistance from the National Guard. (Oh My God! They carry guns!!) This idiot decided it was more important that needed supplies be used for the New York Marathon instead of keeping people alive. Obama? He came in, got his picture taken and then promptly left for more campaigning. As far as he was concerned, since he put in an appearance, everything was just hunky dory.

Tomorrow is our chance to correct the greatest electoral blunder in 100 years.
