Hey Obama, about that red tape?

As we all know, a week before the election, David Axelrod used the stolen Cheney Halliburton Hurricane Machine to send Hurricane Sandy into Staten Island and New Jersey. The object was to use the disaster to make King Putt look good just before the election.

One of the things Der Fubar promised the victims was to cut the red tape regarding help from the federal government. So, how’s that been working out for the victims? Not so good, according to Fox News:

Storm-ravaged New Yorkers say President Obama’s promise to cut red tape and get them aid in the aftermath of Sandy has proven to be hot air.

And did they honestly expect otherwise? As we have long since learned, the SCoaMF’s promises come with a shelf life.

Angry citizens vented at FEMA officials at a town hall meeting held by the disaster relief agency Thursday, with tempers boiling over. Some 1,000 people, many left homeless by the Oct. 29 storm, attended the meeting at Staten Island’s New Dorp High School. They were initially scheduled to submit written questions that would be picked and answered at random, but the session turned into an angry shouting match where residents booed FEMA officials and accused them of lying.

“We are the people – we are the middle class, and we are getting the finger,” said frustrated resident Scott McGrath, who personally spoke to President Obama and New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo when they came to Staten Island to inspect storm damage earlier this month. “You were there when I met Obama, and I told the president … that the middle class was getting the royal finger. And he said, ‘FEMA works for me.’”

Now whatever gave you the idea that the Federal Government works for the people? It’s the opposite, You work for them. They demand that you pay their excessive salary and gold plated benefit levels. Actually doing anything for the people? As my wife would say, “You day dream!”

Obama addressed the nation from FEMA headquarters in Washington on Nov. 3, promising to cut red tape and bring the full force of FEMA to hard-hit residents.

And then he promptly went off to lie about the economy, blame Bush for all his screw ups and call Romney names. Once you people stupidly reelected him, Obama was done with you.

A top FEMA official said agency workers understand the public’s frustration, but he defended their performance in the wake of the storm.

“We have already put $700 million directly in the hands of victims,” Michael Bryne, federal coordinating officer for FEMA told FoxNews.com. “In my opinion, I think that reflects a minimum of red tape.

You will excuse me if I don’t believe that. As the old saying goes, “The nine most terrifying words in the English language are, ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help. ((Ronald Reagan))”

Thursday’s meeting was organized by Staten Island Borough President James Molinaro, many of whose constituents have been left without homes, food or clothing. The auditorium was so crowded that many people were turned away at the door. FEMA officials dutifully absorbed the gripes, took down contact information and promised to meet privately with homeowners.

And like Obama’s promises, they mean nothing.

“Our communities are helping,” said Nicole Chati, to cheers from the audience. “Red Cross comes by, rings our bell, says, ‘Come get a hot meal’ and leaves. We help each other and that’s what we want to do, but we need your support.

The Red Cross has NOT been covering its self with glory of late. A number of people I know refuse to donate to them any longer because most of the money goes to overhead, not to actually helping people. When volunteers come by after a disaster to offer time and services, the Red Cross has been known to slam the door in their faces.

When the hurricane was heading up the coast and was predicted to hit New Jersey and New York, Governor Romney had his campaign set aside supplies and as soon as the weather cleared, sent them in. How did the Obama Steno Pool react to this? By slamming Romney and accusing him of using the misery of others for his own benefit.

I’m quite sure that the majority of storm victims voted for Obama and the democrats. Well, you have just discovered what I’ve known all along. You mean nothing to them. You served your purposes and as far as King Putt cares, you can freeze to death. He has more important things to do, such as head off to Hawaii for a taxpayer paid two week vacation ((Hawaii residents alerted to Obama’s yearly vacation plans)).

Welcome to the real world. There are no unicorn fart powered green generators and all that free stuff Obama and the progressive liberal democrats like to hand out, (At MY expense), only go to his cronies and those who can do something for him.

Life’s tough, but it’s a lot tougher when you’re stupid. Voting for Obama and the Democrats was stupid.
