The Sequestration Tango!

Good day all. In case you have been practicing to be a no information voter, you know that an automatic budget cut, known as Sequestration will be happening shortly. As the day comes closer, the Chicken Littles and the bald faced liars have been screaming like little girls.

First, Der Fubar, King Putt the SCoaMF, has been decrying the Sequester and blaming the Republicans, (And pretty much anyone else he can point to) about allowing it to happen. Of course, he was the one who wanted it in the first place. Then we have Harry Reid, who could solve this in a few hours. All he needs to do is his job and vote on a budget. There have been several sent to Senate from the house. You know, as the Constitution mandates?

Reid, who will go down in History as the most incompetent and corrupt Senate Majority Leader in a century, if not in American History, has steadfastly refused to do his constitutional duty. We have been living under one continuing resolution ((Continuing Resolutions)) after another for FOUR BLOODY YEARS!

Then we have the Speaker of the House, John “Crybaby” Boehner. This craven coward has been rolling over, dropping trousers and presenting posterior to Obama and Reid for three years now. A classic RINO, he has been caving in to Obama and the Democrats. The upshot has been massive tax increases, massive deficits and an economy that, to be honest, is in a Depression.

Now that the Sequester is just around the corner, Obama has begun doing what all Liberal Progressive Democrats do. Cutting the meat and bone and leaving the fat. We are seeing the Federal version of what we’ve seen on the state and local level for years when Democrats can’t spend as much as they want. At the local level, they lay of police and firefighters, stop picking up the trash and closing schools. The idea is to blackmail the taxpayers into approving yet another raid on their wallets.

At the federal level, its a little bit different and a hell of a lot more dangerous. First we have the USS Truman. She and her battle group were supposed to deploy to the Middle East. The Pentagon announced that “Due to budget Strains, the deployment of the USS Truman has been canceled.” ((Truman deployment canceled))

Then we have the release of hundreds of illegal aliens by the Department of Homeland Insecurity. This story is exploding all over the Obama maladministration. Here are a few details from Fox News:

The Department of Homeland Security has started releasing hundreds of illegal immigrants held in local jails in anticipation of automatic budget cuts, in a move one Arizona sheriff called politically motivated — and dangerous.

Once again, Arizona is getting it in the back of the head from Il Douche.

Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu said Tuesday that Immigration and Customs Enforcement released more than 500 detainees in his county alone over the weekend. A spokesman for Babeu told FoxNews.com that ICE officials have said they plan to release a total of nearly 10,000 illegal immigrants.

Of course, ICE is saying that isn’t correct.

The numbers, though, are in dispute. ICE officials said that it’s unclear how many ultimately might be released and that only 303 have been released from four Arizona facilities so far, though all those are in Pinal County. According to ICE, 2,280 detainees are still in custody in those facilities.

It’s only a matter of time though. Probably turn them loose this weekend. I won’t go into the issue of why they are being held in the first place. If they’re here illegally, ship their asses back to the third world hellhole they came from. If they committed other crimes, Try them and hang them. (OK, I may be slightly over the top here)

Babeu described the move as a “mass budget pardon” and suggested the administration was going to unnecessary lengths to demonstrate the impact of the so-called sequester.

“President Obama would never release 500 criminal illegals to the streets of his hometown, yet he has no problem with releasing them in Arizona. The safety of the public is threatened and the rule of law discarded as a political tactic in this sequester battle,” he said.

Welcome to the world of Democrat budgeting. Don’t do the hard thing and shut down wasteful and useless programs, instead, punish those impudent people for refusing to bow to their masters demands for more taxes.

Now, since this is starting to splatter all over “The One”, the bus is being revved up and the tires are being checked.

White House was not involved in ICE’s decision to release detainees, Carney says

The White House and the Department of Homeland Security were unaware of Immigration Customs and Enforcement’s decision to release detainees until the agency announced it, administration officials said Wednesday.

And if you believe that, I have a bridge in Brooklyn I want to sell you.

“This was a decision made by career officials at ICE without any input from the White House, as a result of fiscal uncertainty over the continuing resolution, as well as possible sequestration,” White House press secretary Jay Carney said Wednesday.

VAROOM! VAROOM! Thumpity thumpity thump go the wheels of the bus.

Personnel at Department of Homeland Security headquarters in Washington were also unaware of the decision until the announcement was made, a department official told POLITICO.

ICE announced Tuesday that it has released several hundred undocumented immigrants in recent weeks as funding cuts loom. The detainees will instead be monitored in less expensive ways, the agency said.

Much like all those guns that were allowed to go to Mexico were tracked? By the way, I have a handful of magic beans you might want to add to your order.

“It’s very hard for me to believe that they can’t find cuts elsewhere in their agency,” House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) told CBS News on Tuesday. “I frankly think this is outrageous…I can’t believe that they can’t find the kind of savings they need out of that department short of letting criminals go free.”

What? And actually lay off all those Obama voters who “work” in those high paying management jobs? You know, the ones who do nothing all day long but dream up new ways to screw the American People? Then there is the latest lie to come out of Washington on just what will be cut. Recently, there was the announcement that huge numbers of teachers getting pink slips. From the Washington Post:

The descriptions of the post-sequester landscape that have been coming out of the Obama Administration have been alarming, specific–and, in at least some cases, hyped.

“There are literally teachers now who are getting pink slips, who are getting notices that they can’t come back this fall,” Education Secretary Arne Duncan said Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation.”

When he was pressed in a White House briefing Wednesday to come up with an example, Duncan named a single county in West Virginia and acknowledged, “whether it’s all sequester-related, I don’t know.”

And, as it turns out, it isn’t.

With all this, just how much is going to be cut? Are we going to cut hundreds of billions of dollars from the budget? Umm, Not exactly. In fact, the cuts for this year will amount to $85 billion dollars. Here’s a few details from Breitbart:

When the sequester takes effect, the media is reporting that the government will have to cut $85 Billion from spending between March 1st and the end of the fiscal year, September 30th. The Obama Administration is spinning a Dickensian nightmare if the cuts come into effect. Apparently, according to Obama and the media, cutting $85 Billion from a $3.6 Trillion budget puts in jeopardy the government’s ability to prosecute criminals, patrol the border, and inspect food. This laughable claim is even more ridiculous when one realizes that the actual cuts are around half the $85 Billion reported by the media.

Here’s the basics of all these stories. All that Sequestration does is cut the rate of increase…slightly. It’s yet another cop-out by the Washington Wimps who won’t do their jobs. The nation is broke and there is no more money for them to steal. Obama and the Progressive Liberal Democrats don’t want to cut spending, they want to massively increase it and raise taxes to unsustainable levels. Why? Because they are using all those transfer payments to buy votes. The problem is, when you reach the tipping point, (Where there are more takers then producers), the whole thing collapses. We’re seeing this happen in places like Greece and Italy.

Do you know what the general reaction is to Sequestration? From the high information voters it’s “Go ahead, let it happen. For the low information voters, (Those that voted for Obama), it’s “Hey! Get me another beer!” The majority of Americans have decided that the time has come to start making real cuts. This means cutting off people who can work, but are to lazy to do so. It also means a complete overhaul of the Defense system, and figuring out just what we need and want to do. (This may mean an actual increase with the United States pulling out of areas such as Europe. The need for us to be there ended with the Soviet Union)

We also need to start closing all those worthless agencies, and gutting all the regulations and red tape those worthless scum have been generating. This will not happen with Obama and the Progressive Liberal Democrats in office. It would mean they have been wrong in their beliefs and worst of all, it would mean they would have to get real jobs in “The Dreaded Private Sector.” Most of them would starve to death in very short order.

Couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch of morons. BRING ON THE SEQUESTRATION!!
