The Apocalypse, Day 7

Good day all, it is now Day 7 of America Held Hostage, The Obama Shutdown and people are not getting antsy about it at all. Currently, 83% of the federal workforce, (If what they are doing can be called “work”), is on the job.

There still have been no reported incidents of Zombie outbreaks, although as of this writing there is a tornado alert for Washington DC. The city is rife with rumors that the Veterans, currently taking a breather after retaking the memorials from the Obama Secret Police, are cheering the Tornado on and looking for direct hits on the White House and Congress.

On a more serious note, on orders from the Spite House, from the Petulant One personally, people are being ordered out of their private homes and ordered private business closed since they happen to be leasing federal land. In one case, 77 year old Joyce Spencer and her 80 year old husband Ralph. Here are the details from KTNV:

The government shutdown is being felt close to home for some locals. They say they’re being forced out of private homes on Lake Mead because they sit on federal land. Joyce Spencer is 77-years-old and her husband Ralph is 80. They’ve been spending most of their time in the family ice cream store since going home isn’t an option. The Spencers never expected to be forced out of their Lake Mead home, which they’ve owned since the 70s, but on Thursday, a park ranger said they had 24 hours to get out.

Ok, the closing of the Atlantic Ocean was amusing, but now Der Fubar is crossing the line. He has unleashed his thugs on 80 year old’s and thrown the out of their homes. It’s pretty obvious why they went after an elderly couple. They aren’t likely to have the physical ability to take that cop and beat him like a drum.

We are also seeing private businesses like hotels and restaurants forcibly closed by these police state thugs in what may be an illegal action by King Putt’s minions. These are leased properties NOT concessions. I’m hoping that there are a few lawyers out there looking at these lease agreements and getting ready to go to court for injunctions against the Spite House. As I understand it, unless spelled out otherwise in the lease agreements, these properties are, for all intents and purposes, the property of the people leasing it. It reverts to government control once the lease has expired unless that lease is renewed.

Well, notice is being taken. According to Fox News:

Republican lawmakers plan to investigate mounting reports that federal officials are kicking families out of their homes and shuttering private businesses because they sit on federal parkland — describing the spectacle as an over-the-top response to the partial government shutdown.

“We are receiving a lot of reports” of businesses being shut down, said Mallory Micetich, spokeswoman for Republicans on the House Natural Resources Committee. She confirmed the committee is investigating these reports, as part of a widening probe into the National Park Service’s response to the partial government suspension.

Of course, you won’t see any of this reported by the Obama Steno Pool. The only way you will hear about it is if they can make it look like its the Republicans fault. They long ago gave up any pretense of objectivity, and anything they say should be considered an outright lie.

This is all part of the plan by the SCoaMF and the Spite House of course. They want to make this “Shutdown” as painful as possible. What they may be underestimating is the anger of a large segment of the population. People are outright ignoring these Barrycades and going into the memorials and other Barrycaded locations. What I fear is that the next step by Obama will be to start ordering arrests, and that may, and probably will lead to a violent showdown.

Perhaps that is just what the Spite House wants. Perhaps, National Park Service police going after people and those people deciding that it’s time to put an end to this nonsense and attacking the NPS Gestapo. I’ll let your imaginations consider what Obama might do if a number of his secret police get dog piled and pounded into the concrete by an angered citizenry.

In any case, it’s back to looking for Zombies.
