Obamacare train wreck continues

We’re now almost 3 weeks into this ongoing disaster, and the horror stories are growing in number. People who are able to get in are finding out just how much “Free Health Insurance” is actually going to cost them.

I’m not a mathematician, but anecdotal information seems to indicate a minimum of doubling people’s insurance rates and a huge copay and deductible they weren’t expecting. Then, once they manage to get in and create an account, they found there are no doctors are hospitals available. There may actually be some, but the software is so broken people can’t find them.

Obamacare, Shovel Ready

The Progressive liberal Democrats are in a blind panic over this fiasco. They are lying through their teeth, saying “All is well, no need to panic!” when more information comes out showing they have every reason to panic.

Among the screwups coming out are things like testing. There was no quality assurance testing done at all on the Obamacare web sites until a few days before it went live. When they started they begin finding all sorts of issues, but Obama WILL NOT BE STOPPED and the roll out, quickly followed by the capsizing and sinking occurred. Now it’s getting even better. (Or worse as the case may be) Now insurance companies are finding the data coming in is so bad as to be useless. According to Market Watch:

Insurers say the federal health-care marketplace is generating flawed data that is straining their ability to handle even the trickle of enrollees who have gotten through so far, in a sign that technological problems extend further than the website traffic and software issues already identified.

Emerging errors include duplicate enrollments, spouses reported as children, missing data fields and suspect eligibility determinations, say executives at more than a dozen health plans. Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Nebraska said it had to hire temporary workers to contact new customers directly to resolve inaccuracies in submissions. Medical Mutual of Ohio said one customer had successfully signed up for three of its plans.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Now the chickens are starting to come home for a nice roosting. (Followed by a roasting) The American People, thanks to Obama and his minion, Supreme Court Justice John “Benedict Arnold” Roberts, people have no choice now but to get this crap or get hit with fines. Now it they think they are enrolled, and then come to find out that, thanks to this piece of bug ridden filth, they aren’t, well, they will have to do two things. Pay the fines, (With no due process), and then buy the damn insurance.

The flaws could do lasting damage to the law if customers are deterred from signing up or mistakenly believe they have obtained coverage.

“The longer this takes to resolve . . . the harder it will be to get people to [come back and] sign up,” said Aetna Inc. Chief Executive Mark Bertolini. “It’s not off to a great start,” he said, though he believes the marketplaces are “here to stay.”

Sorry Bertolini, they aren’t. This is the most hated program in U.S. History and growing more hated by the minute. Once the final collapse of this drek happens, the next thing on the Progressive agenda will be single payer and that means either shutting down your company or nationalizing it. I don’t think your stockholders will be to happy with that state of affairs.

There are, of course, calls for the resignation or outright firing of Health and Human Services director Kathleen Sebelius, but Obama doubled down on stupid and is continuing to back her. Now the various committees, primarily in the House since the Senate Progressive Liberal Democrats think everything is just fine, are demanding she put in an appearance. True to form, she’s refusing to show up citing “To much work.” The last thing she wants to do is appear in front of the Republicans and get hammered on over this debacle.

Obamacare is going away. It will either be shut down by the end of the year, or collapse completely by 2016. My fear is that if it lasts that long, people are going to start dealing with the IRS in a rather violent and permanent matter. Of course, that might be what Obama and his minions always wanted. A reason to declare martial law and make himself King of America. (Hey, we needed some tinfoil hat stuff here) *grin*
